Replay On 19th Street

Went there yesterday found some cool vintage clothes. Wish they had stuff also from the 80’s and 90’s like acid wash denim. But overall I recommend to everyone who looks to buy vintage unique stuff

This is an adorable vintage shop with tons of cool genuine vintage trinkets/​clothes. The staff were awesome, very helpful and attentive and chill people. They even have a whole rack of vintage prescription glasses frames from the 70’s 60’s 50’s you name it. There’s also a plethora of different shoes and antique trinkets.

The best vintage in Houston! I’ve been shopping here for years. They always have the best selection and they get to know their loyal clients. You can always find something fun for a party, Christmas or just everyday living. Are you a person who lives having an eclectic home or wardrobe? Replay is the place for you.

I love this entertaining vinatge shop! I discovered it last year when a friend was having a Labyrinth themed party. Yeah, I know that’s a very specific theme.
We went to a few shops down the street & I couldn’t find anything, I was about to throw the towel in & BOOM, Replay on 19^th street saved the day & had exactly what I needed! Before I continue, for those of you who are interested, I found a Neiman Marcus Lady Diana looking dress for 25 $, sold!
They have great knick knacks, hats, shoes, belts, jewellery & fun clothes. I went back last week & found a genuine leather lederhosen, straps & shorts for really cheap, it looked brand new.
The owner is über kind & helpful. You can tell when someone is really passionate about something & this shop reflects that. It’s clean & well organized which is not an easy task in the resale business but they make it seem effortless. If you know what you are looking for, let them know & they will point you in the right direction or pull some things for you!
I haven’t been to the second shop that they have but I’m looking forward to checking it out.

My favorite shop on 19^th. The folks here also run a night shop with even more interesting and bizarre novelties and fashion items. They really have an awesome selection of unique items. Gifts costumes outfits taxidermy old advertisements vintage propaganda cartoons records comics. Anything really.

This place has too much merchandise. The staff was super nice, but you will be there a while trying to go through their stuff.

This is the best place on earth to buy vintage! They have a great selection of everything here. A gorgeous variety of men and women’s clothing and accessories over an array of decades in all sizes and prices. They sell high spec vintage clothing as well as a large selection of items suitable for costumes. There is home décor, toys and kitsch and kooky items aplenty. The shop is so well laid out so you can wander round looking at the pretty and kooky items on offer. The owners Laura and Mike are the friendliest and loveliest people on the planet and are more than willing to help you with anything. If you can’t see something you are looking for, ask them and I bet they can find it somewhere for you. They love what they do and take good care of their items and customers. They know their stuff and if there’s a great back story to an item they’ll tell you. Shopping here is like traveling through time with old friends. I will come back here time and time again, brilliant place.

Not only are the owners the nicest most passionate vintage lovers I’ve ever met, but this is by far the best collection of vintage I’ve ever seen under one roof. That being said, some items do cost a little more but you have to think «am I ever going to find this anywhere else?» Usually the answer is no, because many of their items are so unique.
All my favorite clothing (and jewelry, records and knick knacks!!!) are all from this store. Everything is hand picked with not only love but a kick ass eye for color, patterns, etc.!! :-)

I had been wanting to check out Replay on 19^th for awhile. A few weekends ago, my dude actually had the weekend off and we were out to lunch. He asked what we should do next and I suggested checking out this cool shop I had heard of called Replay on 19^th.
I think once he heard the word «shop» he completely walled up and glazed over. We were finishing up lunch and still didn’t have a plan for the next thing to do so I put it like this, «Well darling, I paid for lunch, I drove us here and I want to go to Replay on 19^th. So it looks like that’s what we’re doing.»
How funny it is, that as soon as I finally dragged his begrudging ass in there, HE was the one who was like a kid in a candy store? This shouldn’t be so hard to believe for anyone who has been to Replay though – it’s full of awesome and then some.
As others have noted, the owner is a really nice, fun & friendly guy. When you make your first purchase, he gives you a card for discounts on all your future purchases as well!
I tried on a bunch of fabulous dresses and things from the 60s, 70s, 80s and even bought a super cute 90s dress! The dude found some beer steins he just had to have and a Rockets Championship hat from ’94 that I swear he hasn’t taken off since we got it…
Thanks, Replay, you just gave me another reason to say «I told you so» to my guy!

Edit: went back with my niece and got a few good deals.
I used to love this place for great inexpensive finds but the cost has skyrocketed and I will no longer be going here. The clothes are significantly more expensive than brand new clothes. I’ll be sticking with Retropolis just down the way a bit.

Mike and Laura are awesome! The store is so well organized and they are so knowledgable about the fashion of the different eras. Mike and Laura are friendly and always willing to help you find exactly what you are looking for or point you in the direction of someone they know that might have what you need.

Amazing service and hospitality. Selection is prime and always makes my shows come alive. Thank you for costuming three shows with me now!

The best on w. 19^th hands down love love love this shop and the fabulous folks who own it they have an amazing selection of matches and vintage hats as well as a well curated collection of vintage clothing that is extremely clean and damage free. will not be going to other vintage shops replay gets all of my love from here on out.

Would give it 6 if I could! Wonderful staff! Very helpful and communicative! (My 13 year old son had a lovely time chatting them up!) Excellent collection (though a tad pricey for me, is likely still worth the prices being asked… lovely well cared for items!) All in all the best shopping experience in a long, long time! Cannot wait to revisit :)

I’m not a HUGE Vintage shopper, but I like to browse and usually can find something I can’t live without. I had been wanting a saddle bag (the old cowboy looking ones from the 80’s) for quite some time. I had seen several and no two were alike. With the rodeo coming up and a possible trip to Nashville, and I thought I would pop in to see if I could find one. Lucky me, I found THREE! The one I finally settled on was in perfect condition, and lightweight. The great news was that the price was right. The guy who helped me was super friendly, super friendly, and was able to pin point exactly what I needed. They had a great selection of girls and guys old cowboy boots too, and some really great vintage beaded hand bags. It is very organized, and they really know their stuff. They also mentioned opening a location in Midtown that is open Thurs/​Fri and Sat nights from 9−1a.m. Cute little shop, bonus points for finding exactly what I wanted!

One of the best vintage shops in town. With dresses so old they could be costumes and real deal vintage shades priced at $ 65, this place really tops the idea of vintage. Throughout the store are bins, shelves, and walls full of small trinkets and posters, which just adds to the charm of the place. The glasses they have are amazingly old, intact, and retro, which hints to the subtle flare of the store. Purses are in good condition and funky, yet utterly worth it. But with any real vintage store, expect prices to be high. If not for shopping, definitely just worth a stroll inside to glance around.

Words can’t describe how much I love this vintage spot. One of my first stops when I first ever got into vintage and have been coming back ever since. I just can’t leave without buying something! Every time I come in even if I haven’t been by for a year they remember me and ensure a wonderful personal shopping experience. Last time I was there Mike told me they are opening a new totally bizarre spot above the Continental Club on Main St sometime in Sept. I will def be paying a visit next time I’m in town!

Mike helped me pick out a dress for an art reception last year, and I wore it again for SXSW, and received SO many complements. I have been hooked on the store ever since. He also suggested a great tailor/​seamstress who does fantastic work.
Its apparent that they care a lot about their clientele and are not just out to sell.
I love it here, and have been twice this week.

I’ve been to Replay several times and have never left without buying something. Last time I bought suitcases for a photo shoot, another time I bough cowgirl boots for my daughter, and today I bought men’s bow ties for my college son in California. My pre-​teen daughter bought several belt buckles. Compared to other stores, I find the staff at Replay MUCH friendlier and the prices more reasonable. Mike, one of the owners, always offers deals which makes me tickled pink. The only thing I would do to change this place is to make it BIGGER! Their stuff is well organized and if you are looking for anything in particular, just ask, and they can show you right where it is at. Another thing I love is that although the staff is hip and cool, they still treat us middle aged moms like valued customers.
Can’t wait to go back!

I went in a couple of weeks ago and just got a couple of bracelet, nick nack type of things. The owners seemed extremely nice, I talked to her on the phone yesterday and now I know 100% sure that the staff there are the friendliest in The Heights! They support the local scene and know what it’s like to be in a small business dependent upon referrals etc. and I will be referring all of my friends to shop here! You guys are too cool for school! Thanks for being wonderful! I’ll be back soon :)

If I could give Replay an extra star for it’s staff I would. I have spent most of the past week looking for a very specific costume that only existed in my extremely particular director’s mind and I walked into replay exasperated. After a telling them the three adjectives I was given the entire staff was bustling around the store pulling every possible thing I might need. At the end of my trip they kindly thanked me for my business and told me not to worry about the GIANT mess I made.
Next time I have a pub crawl, theme party, play, or desire to have a dress up day I will definitely hit them up.
