Rice Stadium

Tonight was my very first college football match, Friday Night Lights!
I’m not a huge fan of American football but the tickets were cheap & I had great friends to chat & watch the game with. It was a hell of an experience from the tailgate to 3^rd quarter.
The stadium is currently under construction so there’s only one entrance at the moment. They are building new offices for coaches & weight room in one of the end zones. They currently have seating for 40,000 fans.
I can’t compare it to other stadiums since I have no reference point. However, here’s a little history for you, Super Bowl 8 was played here (70,000 capacity) & JFK gave his famous speech on sending a man to the moon here. Cool stuff!
