We have this chain and Salt Lake City so I’ve been there quite often and have really enjoyed their homemade treats over the years. My friends and I had just gotten some Tex-Mex across the way I needed something sweet to end the meal. I figured this would be the perfect place. I ordered the apple pie caramel dip Apple and the chocolate dipped Apple to share. I love the fact that the pre-cut the apples into small slices so they are easier to eat. They were both incredibly flavorful and just the right snack for having just finished a salty meal. I recommend this place if you’re in the area. You can’t go wrong with anything in the shop. The woman who runs the shop was also quite nice and answered my questions about what she likes best of her selection.

I love rocky mountain chocolate factory however this location was not my cup of tea. came here yesterday before my flight and the women working there seemed pretty blunt and unfriendly. oh well. cheesecake is def. my favorite so that’s what i got. as for the apple, it wasn’t as crisp as I’ve had before and it was room temp when they’re usually a little cooler. I’ll still go back because it’s convenient but perhaps it should be managed better just to improve the experience.

The candied apple display caught my eye and just as I was about to choose one to satisfy my sweet tooth I noticed a fruit fly walking around on top of one of the apples. I decided to pass.

I must admit that I don’t tend to write reviews often; however, I was recently involved in a bit of unique situation that deserves to be mentioned, and that if possible I would rate with more than 5 stars. On a recent trip, my mom had to take a connecting flight to Houston, TX. While at the airport, she decided to stop at Rocky Mountain; knowing how big of a chocolate lover she is, I don’t blame her! And while I could take the time to write a review on how amazing RM’s products are, this time I want to emphasize on the amazing personnel that this particular airport location has. My mother, upon paying for her purchase went back to her gate leaving her iPad behind. Blame it on the 3 – 4 hours of delayed flights, on the fact that she was exhausted, or simply on how much she was into her chocolates, she forgot her iPad, which was her only medium of communication for the length of her trip. Desperate and frustrated she asked me to report her iPad as lost. That same night via iCloud I reported the device as lost and in the message I included my phone number, so in case someone found it they would get my contact information upon turning it on. At 7 am the next morning I got a call from Natalie, a RM employee who had found the iPad and wanted to give it back. I was in shock. Unfortunately, we live in a world where honesty and kindness don’t predominate anymore, and crossing paths with candid individuals who are willing to go the extra mile and do the right thing is quite unusual. Natalie not only called me immediately, she also agreed to handle the return on her personal time instead of taking the iPad to the airline(we all know that dealing with airlines can be a real hassle…), amazingly enough, that same day she drove to FedEx made sure the iPad was properly wrapped, and she even sent me a picture of the receipt with all the tracking info. I mean. seriously? Who does that nowadays! I am more than thankful and appreciative of her willingness to do what’s right, kudos to RM for employing such an awesome girl, and kudos to you Natalie for being such a great person with values that are remarkable. Our world needs more people like you! :)

Had the pistachio almond icecream and a scoop of spiced pumpkin pecan icecream. Not bad. Not gelato though. Nice counter staff. shop is full of chocolate treats!

I love Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory apples! I was so happy to come across this shop when I was in between flights in the Houston International Airport. It’s a small little shop, but it provides enough chocolate and apples as the bigger shops do. The service was great and efficient and immediately offered to cut the apple I ordered so I can eat it on my flight. Craving different types of caramel apples… visit this location. What I ordered: New York Cheesecake Apple– caramel, white chocolate, graham crackers

I hate buying food at the airport because you know that it’s overpriced. But I am a big fan of their Cheesecake Apple and the closesat Rocky Mountain is Wrentham Outlet which is far from Boston so I get it whenever I can. Its a chain so you can’t expect the quality to be any different from others. It’s tastes what I expected. Very caramely and marshmallow-ey, just like how I love it! Even my friend who is allergic to apples love this! But it is overpriced. $ 6.50 for an apple. MYGODMAN!

Had a hankering for a milkshake while waiting for my flight home. I should’ve realized that I’d be disappointed with this one. I knew it the moment I picked it up. It was too light. Way too much air in it. And I paid airport prices. Dumb.

By the time I was connecting flights at George Bush International Airport, I had visions of caramel covered green apples dancing in my head. My friend recently scored one at the River Walk location in San Antonio. And what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a miniature retail spot with those green apples. $ 4.98 each. I bought a caramel covered apple that was rolled in peanuts. A savvy traveller in front of me asked that his apple be cut. A custom tool left the apple intact, but sliced it in a half dozen sections, leaving a narrow core as a separate piece. I took my rubic’s cube of a treat on board where it easily came out of it’s bag in manageable slices. The Facotry would be good to label these purchases as Take-off rather than take-out. Ho ho ho. Brochures say franchises are available, in case you get more crazy about this than even me.
