This is my mom’s dr(aka Doc on the Bay as well). I drive her here from Pearland only because this is much easier to maintain one dr w disability patients experience. We always have to wait longer than expected for her appt. then we wait again in the room. Classic dr visit for most I’m sure, but it’s just frustrating. The care: acceptable. She gets her meds, labs, care as needed. However, it seems they do not read the entire reason why you’re there when it’s already in the file. Rx: mostly ok, but it has been a couple of months now that they should have lowered my mom’s tramadol(fr 4x daily to 2x daily). I do dispense 2x daily nonetheless. Being this is a narcotic and my mom is a hypocondriac, that is not something that should be overlooked. Today’s visit was routine — get a shot in the hip and read labs fr last week. Waited 30 minutes before I knocked on the window to say I need to leave soon and when will they call her back? She doesn’t need the dr. Wtf?! So, the triage room it is right now. It is 2:24p now and her appt was at 1:30p. We are now waiting in a damn room for a 10 second shot. :/ Advice: bring a book, charge your phone, bring water. Be patient(no pun lol) Bright side: the nurse tech helping mom now is good. Young black man. I need a snickers bar.
