I was checking this place out for an UYE(unofficial Unilocal event) after an official Unilocal event at Yellow River. First time here, I couldn’t find it while driving around in my comfy car. It was raining and cold. So I went home disappointed. Next day, I found Rosso’s Pizzeria tucked away behind LA Fitness and across from Kpop restaurant. It’s cool to be able to order pizza by the slice. It’s more cool to have pizza come out perfectly like they made the whole pizza and cut a slice for me. I came here during of peak hours. Doesn’t matter if it was day or night, they have steady foot traffic. For the life of me, I had no idea how to eat such huge pizza slice. One day, I saw a guy who ordered 2 slices. I figured he was a pro. So he folded from the edge and shoved the other end into his mouth. Aaaahhhh… nom nom. Yup, it was so yummy. My first specialty pizza slice was a Chicken Rustico. The fresh garlic flavor was so pungent, I had to buy a mouthwash. I also like the plain cheese pizza. Best to enjoy them just came out of oven. I wouldn’t want it delivered, tho. Watch my in-app video to see the size of dining area. They have a giant screen with sports of some sort and another TV shows something with no sound. As you can see, I can careless about watching TV. I’m here to enjoy my pizza and/or conversations. There is Xfinitywifi/CableWifi here, so I can be entertained and brevet bored.

This place has upgraded its food and service substantially in the past year. We’ve had a few bump Ins but they always compensate.

My first time eating russos today. Delivery was quick convenient and free. I was so pleasantly surprised with the food. They said fresh on menu and the lived up to it. The fettuccine was so awesome and fresh… same with spinach dip and Italian sandwich. Probably the best Italian I’ve had in awhile. I’ll definitely be ordering from there again.

Soggy pizza and overcooked pasta that tasted like it had been stored in bulk for ages. The cheese slid off of half the pie and the dough was very thick without enough sauce. The pizza they offer by the slice is good I am told, but misleading because the dough is more thin than if you order a pie.

Pizza was delivered in 15 mins, piping hottttt! Not pricey and simply delicious. As an East Coaster, best NY «like» pie in Hou. Gluten free crust is fab!

I haven’t been here in many yrs, seems it’s a new pizza place but I like it. The lady in the front is very kind and helpful. She brought us some bread and pasta while we wait for our pizza. With customer service like this I can see myself here more often. It’s small but it’s slow for lunch time. This is not a fast food pizza chain, they also serve pastas.

We stopped in for lunch at Russo’s during a weekend stay in Houston. It was delicious! We ordered the Margherita pizza and it was amazing — fresh and flavorful. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for some great pizza.

Decent pizza for a guy that grew up on the stuff in New Jersey. Convenient if you want a quick meal before going to see a movie.

I went to Russos for the first time out in Pearland and LOVVEEED it. After going to Dave and Busters, my boyfriend and I decided to go get some pizza for lunch. We ordered a medium pizza, a chicken alfredo pasta and tomato basil soup. The pizza was very greasy and soggy, the bread they give you to start looked moldy and the soup just didnt taste very good.

Ok– well we were excited to watch the Astros game and have a nice meal. While we had to send our food back because of so much grease(Gordon Ramsey would be appalled) our waiter Hunter– WHOISAWESOME– did his best to get us food that wasn’t dripping in olive oil. I do love NY pizzeria, the one thing I can’t get over is that not at ONETIME did the manager come over and say«I’m sorry. What can we do to make your experience better?» Meanwhile, Hunter, our waiter, could not have been NICER to us and apologized and said WEWERENOTTHEFIRST, 2nd or 3rd person to say it tonight. God bless hunter– he needs to find a restaurant that treats him right and has a manager that cares about his customers!

Love this pizza. We were totally floored the first time we had the pizza. So tasty. Coming from Chicago, this means a lot. I had no hope for Houston pizza! Now, this is nothing like chicago pizza, it’s ny style. But, it’s great. However, the 3rd time we ordered, asked for a hawaiian pizza, and got a pizza with canadian bacon. That’s it. Maybe I should have explained what a hawaiian pizza was, but he didn’t ask, so i thought he knew that pineapple is an extremely important ingredient for a hawaiian pizza! So disappointing :(The pineapple is so key. The garlic knots are awesome though also :)

PROS: Nice selections of options, delivered quickly, courteous driver. Fresh food that met expectations. CONS: Light on pizza toppings, a little pricey for what you get, took almost an hour for delivery(which probably means they make everything fresh, which is a pro). Ordered from GrubHub, quick and easy. Driver called and arrived several minutes before the promised time. Everything was warm and fresh.(Except the napoletano pizza was more soggy in the middle and only crispy on the edges.) This place is a good spot for some basic American Italian food and some other options you don’t always see everywhere else. And it’s one of the few restaurants in the area that offers delivery. Not bad if you have a hankering for Italian and want to stay in for the night! Food ordered: Spinach Calzone with Italian Sausage, napoletano pizza with prosciutto, house salad, meatball appetizer.

I always enjoy eating lunch here. The pizza slices are huge New York style with several toppings to choose from. The Grilled Shrimp Salad is one of my favorites and the egg plant parm is always a hit. I would deff recommend this place to any pizza/Italian lover that’s not over the top expensive.

I haven’t tried their pizza bc I couldn’t get over the pasta dishes! They’re baked and absolutely the best Italian food in town and Italian food is my fav, so I have been everywhere. The service is fantastic. Today I had the canneloni and tiramisu. Still have over half left in refrigerator ! Huge portions. Go by here, you won’t be disappointed.

Best Pizza in town hands down — with traditional MARGHERITA and CAPRESE made with the best ingredients and ALWAYSHOT and FRESH!!! One time I decided to try their Pasta, and the PASTAFLAVA was full of Italian flavor that reminded me of my last trip to Milan, Italy last summer. Also, I have to mention the service… THEBEST… always Friendly and Courteous !!! Finally, I have to say the Place is always Spotless and Clean and very Inviting! I will definitely be BACK!!!

This place located in the same complex as Edwards Cinemas. Makes it very convenient when grabbing a quick bite to eat before seeing a movie. Pizza is fresh and reasonably priced.

Food was good but poor service. The workers kept staring at me and not in a good way. It made me feel uncomfortable. I most likely will still order from there but to go my food. The place was a little dirty and I didn’t like the chairs they have, really hurts ur butt after 5 mins sitting on it. One of the employee was constantly on his phone while taking my order which irritated me alot.

Fairly quick and casual Italian fare if you are looking for delicious pizzas, calzones, pasta dishes. Service was attentive.
