Saigon Maxim

I’m actually pretty embarrassed to be even reviewing this place, but here goes. It was definately not my choice to come here (or will it ever be) but there was an event hosted here and well let’s just say I was not impressed. The event was great but everything else was 2 thumbs down. First off the name of the restaurant. Way tacky and not in the least bit classy at all. The food here was border line gross. We had an 8 course meal here and none of the dishes were memorable! I found a lot of the dishes to be bland, cold, and messily presented. For example, the fried rice dish (which is supposed to be the easiest dish to whip out) came out to be white rice mixed around in thawed out frozen peas. I don’t think they’re even allowed to call it fried rice. The décor inside was an eyesore. Supposedly this place turns into a club at night and the disco balls hanging overhead and the stick on glow in the dark star stickers I had in my bedroom as a kid is definately not club nor restaurant decorating material. I would never come back nor use this place to cater any event.
