My pregnancy was such a ease with her. She was very patient during my visits listening to all my concerns and questions as a first time mom. I give her full credits for my trouble free pregnancy and delivery. The best of all she helped me with a lot overcome the stress post-partum. The one session for 30 minutes made such a difference in me. She is the best!

Dr. Sander was/is GREAT. She delivered my daughter and my best friends son. You do have to book in advance, or you will receive an appointment 3 – 4 months afterwards. She is soooo gentle, easy to talk to, and her nurses are awesome! I was taken back in the delivery room because she was talking about me needing a c section. Dr. Sander, let me know that it was perfectly fine and that she had 3 herself. IF, and I stretch IF I had another child, she would deliver him/her.

Yearly checkups are never fun and are always SO awkward. Dr. Sander is very caring and absolutely doesn’t make things awkward at all. You can ask her anything and she will be honest with you while being friendly. I definitely recommend her as a Gynecologist!

Going to the gynecologist for the ol’ yearly checkup isn’t exactly the favorite pastime of many women. It’s an important part of keeping healthy, but… yeah. Saying«hi» to the speculum is like running into an ex at the grocery store: awkward, cold and a little bizarre. Dr. Sander somehow makes that annual trek bearable. I only see her once a year and yet she remembers who I am and sits down before the exam to ask me about how the medications I’m on are working out. It’s easy to talk to her about any issues or questions you may have because she really puts you at ease. It feels more like chatting with a friend than an overtly formal medical professional and helps you forget you’re sitting in a cold exam room wearing a gigantic paper towel. Dr. Sander is quick, professional and efficient when it comes to the actual exam, keeping the discomfort to a minimum. The secret’s out about Dr. Sander, though: she’s frequently booked MONTHS in advance, so call with as much notice as possible. I downright proselytize to my female friends about her when they’re looking for a gynecologist! She truly is a gem among Houston’s medical community.
