Just visited for the first time. THE best archery range I’ve ever shot. 10 yards all the way to 85 yards of 3D targets. We will definitely be back. Very nice people that run the place, highly recommended.

I’ve been to Shiloh twice now — once last weekend to shoot for the first time in many years, and just yesterday to take the course needed to obtain my Concealed Handgun License. As others have mentioned, this place has a very comfortable feel to it where you feel like you could just hang out and relax. The ranges are pretty nice and an indoor range beats shooting outside on a hot Texas summer day. As for the CHL class, I was very impressed with the knowledge and experience of their staff. My instructors were Terry and Randy. I will definitely be back to take training courses to become more proficient at using my concealed carry for self-defense.

This place is one of the few place in America that has that homely feeling. As soon as you walk in the door they welcome you with«hi how are you doing?». You also get great customer service, something that a lot of business’ have forgotten over the years. Oh! And they take great care of service men/women police/fire fighters all of them. These guys have no agenda they just want you to have a good SAFE time.

Wow! This place is awesome!!! My wife and I attended CHL class last Nov with Tracy, we are now both successful concealed carry citizens. Tracy was an excellent instructor, especially with with newbies! I soon realized my revolver was not the greatest conceal weapon, so I decided to switch to a semi automatic. I was greeted by Jeff. He spent over 1 hour with me, especially since I was new to semi autos. Jeff was super patient, never rushed me, and was always polite. He listened to all my concerns and helped me pick out my Glock 42! While I was waiting for the paperwork to process, he had Matt take me to the range to fire a double barrel handgun! Matt is another awesome friendly guy. This will be my new home, as I will only be giving my business to these guys!

Was here a few days ago with my brother while visiting my mom and I love this place! I have never been to a range before so I was very nervous to begin with but Matt and Patrick were amazing and helped me a lot. From the moment we stepped into the shop all the employees greeted us with smiles right away. I loved their sense of humor. The price was very good, a lot cheaper than what I had in mind. The beginners orientation given by Patrick was wonderful. He was patient and very knowledgeable and had answers to all our questions. Matt at one point was very with stern with the other shooters in the booth next to us because they were acting like idiots with the guns. It made me feel good knowing that they are constantly looking out for the safety of their customers and always have an eye on things. I will actually be visiting Houston again soon in 2 weeks and I cannot wait to come back! This will definitely be one of my must go’s when I’m in town!

I have been shooting at Shiloh for a while now and i always go back! Its a wonderful range with a country feel to it. We shoot during our lunch break at work. The general manager is the nicest guy and sometimes offers us discounts on the range fee because we are regulars! Its my go to range and very affordable. There are some higher end fancy places in Houston to shoot but if you’re looking for something with a country feel, a comfortable environment, affordable, and local this is the place to be! I will be going for many more years!

Definitely not the best shooting range that I have been to. Cost me $ 96.00 to shoot for 20 minutes one box of 9 mm. Very few shooting lanes and they allow too many people per shooting station. They pretty much pick the gun for you because they have a very limited selection of guns. Got sold a $ 35.00 safety training which, I can this being important for a person that never in their life have handled a gun before. But for an experienced shooter its a waste of time and money. People are nice and polite but it was a overpriced not so great experience.

Ladies, if you are looking for a CHL class, this is the place to go. Tracy’s ladies only CHL is awesome! I am an experienced shooter but I was still extremely nervous about taking the class. She answers all of your questions, she’s realistic, she makes you feel comfortable, and she’s entertaining. You will walk out feeling much more comfortable about laws and carrying. Also, price is better than other classes I found. I will definitely be back for other types of classes. Even if you are just looking for more education for home protection and you don’t care about concealing, this is a good class.

First time coming to this place. We usually go to Hotwells but they closed at 6 this place closes at 8. Its indoor so air conditioned a plus for a hot summer day. They have a good sized facility, staff was friendly and knew there stuff. This place is however is nothing special. At first our target wouldn’t move. Turns out you have to manually pull the cable first then it would start working. I guess for the price its a pretty good deal. It is $ 16 a person which is nice since they don’t charge per gun. Also dont forget to check in. 25% off total fir the day. Sweet! Overall not a bad spot for some target practice.

A good group of guys that are very knowledgeable. Also have reasonable prices for lane rental and firearms. The archery range out back is just awesome. Also had a few firearms sent to these guys and the transfer was cheap and easy. Highly recommended

It’s as good as it gets for me since this was only the 2nd shooting range I have ever visited in my life. The last time was decades ago. I came here to get my class certification in CHL on a Saturday and found the class to be very informative and not boring. The class is scheduled I believe once every two weeks but you can check their website to confirm that. The personnel are very helpful and not condescending on newer folks that have barely popped their cherry in the firearm subject. A few times my gun jammed on me I was quickly aided on getting the misift out without a blink of an eye. Do not forget that you can get your 25% Unilocal check in on your range fee, I believe without it that it is $ 16. A box of 9mm’s or .45’s will cost you in the $ 26 a box for 50. There are targets that you can purchase but if you are in a crunch I would recommend you bring your own. They will rent you guns here to see if you like them and to even purchase them. Did you bring somebody who is not really interested in firearms or to protect themselves? Well there is a little waiting area they can sit on some comfortable couches/chairs. Restroom is pretty clean too, mind the comical paper above the facility. Parking is a little small but there is an expansion right behind it via a grassy area, just watch out when it rains you could possibly get stuck. Female friendly CHL classes are offered here too. These guys have a good memory more than I would be able to copy. I left my driver’s license here about a month ago, when I came in one of the guys behind the counter asked me if I was XXXXXXXXXXX, naturally I said yes and was provided my lost license. I was wow’ed, who would have thought? Another plus is they rent out ear protection and eye wear without charging.
