Quite place to chill and get some work done. And it’s 24hrs! Because I need 24 hour fitness and 24 hours of Do-nuts!

Why do these donut companies think they have to make 200% profit? The good donuts are around 1dollar and you buy 6 and your in over $ 5.00. The Latinas that work there are not very glad to see you either. Tired of these guys bullying the market. Luckily i only eat these on rare occasion now.

4 stars for taste and freshness. 1 star for location and store cleanliness. Good donuts, good price. What can I say? It’s a shop after all, not a French Bakery

I have came here a few times over the years… Always have ok service, never great. They always seem like they are in a rush, so I don’t really expect anything great. However today… Was horrible. They told me to come back at 4 because they didn’t have glazed donuts… first off it was 4:06… So I leave, come back again 15 min later and wait in line. The people in front of me asked for glazed. She tells them they don’t have any, even though I could clearly see in the back, they were finishing them up. This woman clearly didn’t care about customer. She could has said it’ll be just a few minutes if you would like to wait, but she looked at them like we don’t have any, are you staying or going. Then it is my turn and I told her I wanted glazed said they aren’t ready and she looked at me like why are back again… I told her she said come back at 4, it was 4:25. Well I got my donuts. Hot and fresh. So basically. Great food… Not so great service.

Shipley’s is THE place to get donuts in Houston. This particular location is quite convenient, as it’s right off the freeway, so you can get your sugar high and be back on your way. I’m a boring donut eater– I hardly venture away from chocolate iced donuts, but they are fresh and yummy and satisfy my random cravings. There’s a good amount to choose from here– iced/glazed/filled donuts in a variety of flavors, kolaches, rolls, milk, juice, coffee… Mornings are super packed, but I’ve never had an issue with rude servers as per other reviewers. Sure, they’re in a hurry– but who can blame them with the constant traffic in and out? There is a drive-thru, which is more of a nuisance than anything else since it’s so narrow and tiny; just park your car and walk in.

The lady is a jerk. Worst employee a company could have. Multiple experience with the same employee. Bad attitude. No smile. Wouldn’t prefer going there

This location is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is good. I come here regularly for some morning kolaches and have never had a problem. What else is there to say? Good job all around.

Forget Krispy Kreme, Shipley’s is the place to go. This location can fulfill you donut craving at 3am since they’re open 24 – 7! Unheard of, right??? A guilty pleasure is a guilty pleasure and I’ve been spotted here a few times after midnight. That’s right! No shame! There’s nothing like a warm, fresh, glazed donut any time of the day. There’s a good spread here, so if you like chocolate, filled, whatever, they have it. Definitely go for their chocolate coated with walnut donut if you’ve never tried it. Seriously, it’s perfection. I can’t describe it any better than that.

Shipley’s is THE place for donuts in Houston. It’s been that way for years, and probably always will be. I realllly like early mornings when the donuts are still hot, and the glaze is almost running off the donut and down your hand… Man that’s some good stuff. They have multiple types of donuts, and since we have these often at the office, I’ve never heard one bad thing about ANYTHING from here. The kolaches are great. Jalapeño and cheese? Even better. Have one and a chocolate milk. You’ll thank me. Parking is tight here, and they’re usually busy, but quick in the mornings. Oh, and this place has a drive through. But don’t be that person that blocks the entire driveway because you don’t want to get out of your car.

I’ll be honest here. I’m not a donut or doughnut(however you want to spell it) person. Not your standard donuts anyway. Cake donuts? Yes, yummy. But the standard glazed type? No. So why did I come to Shipley when they are so known around here for their hot, fresh, glazed donut? It was EARLY morning and I was on my way to the Renaissance Festival so why not? What I got was the cinnamon cake donut, a sugar cake donut and a sausage and cheese kolache. The cake donuts were good. They had a good texture and flavor. I enjoyed the cinnamon a lot. The kolache? It was good overall but there was a lot of bread in the bread to sausage ratio. I have nothing against bread. Bread is good. But, I would like a little less bread and a little more sausage and cheese, thanks. I noticed there are so many items to choose from. I’m not a «bear claw» or fritter person, either. So I didn’t try them. The cinnamon rolls looks as if they would be the same«bread type» as a glazed donut so I passed on those, too. I wish I would have had more time to look at everything but I was in a hurry and apparently so was the server. She seemed very low on patience and not happy that she had the«chore» of getting my food for me. It was very early morning so I won’t complain about that. We all know early mornings can suck. Overall, it was good and the prices were great. It was a nice breakfast for an early morning trip.

I have always been a fan of Shipley’s Donuts! This donut shop located by the Southwest Freeway near Murphy Road makes donuts the«CRUNCHY» way, which is sooooooo scrumptious! I don’t know exactly what the crunchy stuff is made of, but it is just so yummy! My favorite is the apple-filled, which tastes like a Dutch apple pie, crunchy(strudel-like) on the outside and warm and soft with sweet apple filling inside! I don’t often come here to buy donuts though because it is located far from where i live. i usually buy from the Shipley’s on Hwy 6 and W. Airport, which is just right around the corner from my neighborhood… BUT, that Shipley’s does not have«crunchy» donuts :’( I would highly recommend the crunchy apple-filled donuts for all of you donut lovers!
