Did somebody say, «Donuts?» Sometimes I might be at work or out somewhere and get offered a donut, and if I don’t see that Shipley’s box… «Thanks, but no thanks.» I’m a snob, so sue me.
I love their glazed donuts and chocolate iced. I usually heat it in the microwave for 11 seconds. then damn it’s perfect! Then gimme a sausage kolache to go with it, and I am a happy camper! Their kolaches are just ok. It’s just a regular hot dog inside of some big ol bread. I wish the bread was better, I usually just throw away some of the excess breading to get to the hot diggity dog.
One bite donut… one bite kolache… one bite donut… one bite kolache. Sweet and savory… oh yeah… I am a fatass… I know.
