My experience this morning left a sour taste in my mouth. I had an appointment for 10 am but, as a potential new patient, I came in at about 9:20 am to fill out the appropriate paperwork. At 10:30 am, I was still waiting and no one had offered me an update on why the good doctor was running late. When I asked for an update and pushed for an answer(initially, I was merely told that I was«next»), I was advised that I would be waiting an additional 15 – 20 minutes — and that is just waiting in the general waiting area! Who knows how much longer I would have to, then, wait in the individual room. In my opinion, it is unacceptable and unprofessional to make patients wait that long. The traditionally accepted norm of having to wait for doctors needs to be rejected. With that being said, I requested my paperwork back, told them I would be looking for a different doctor and left.
