Each time I give this place a chance, I regret it. The cashier, if she is ever around when you’re ready, is commonly distracted while she helps you. She’s either on the phone or doing something other than paying attention to the customers. I have little confidence that she rings my order up correctly and have even caught her giving me incorrect change.

I am giving 1 star for RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The ladies serving do not make much contact with you other than look at you and take your order. One of them is very nice and professional and will ask what you want on your sandwich, etc. HOWEVER, the CASHIER who I think is also the Assistant Manager or something is the most RUDE woman I have ever seen and needs to be FIRED! She is constantly talking in Spanish to the assembly line workers or laughing very loudly [most annoying laugh ever] with her back to you. You stand there waiting for her to turn around and check you out. She tells you the total and then turns around and continues her conversation or looks off in the distance. If you are a woman, she is very short with you. No «thank you», NO NOTHING! But boy can she pour on the charm and flirt when the construction workers come in. The food is fair. Sandwiches over priced. The tv is on the news channel. What a shame. Go to a restaurant. The prices are the same. You will be glad you missed this disappointment of a deli.

This was my first time going there, I was just passing by and saw it from the window and decide to try some eggs and bacon breakfast since I was a bit hungry. The food is good and priced fairly well! But, if you’re sensitive to RUDENESS, do not go there, they will make sure you start your day with a bad mood! And by they, I mean those Spanish ladies. Usually Spanish ladies are really nice, the ones at chipotle will brighten your day with their smile. Those ladies at calpine are just flat out RUDE!!! They act like they don’t even want your business, the lady that was serving me didn’t even bother to look at me and behaved like I was being a burden. When I was ready to pay, the cashier just stood there with her friend showing her things on her phone, I didn’t wanna be rude so I just stood there waiting for her to acknowledge me. I stood there for a good 2 mns while they didn’t even care that I was standing there, then I go «good morning ladies, can I please pay for this», then she just looked up and came up to me, took my money and just slammed my change on my hand without saying thank you or have a nice day! I don’t know who their manager is but he or she is doing a poor job hiring these rude people or not teaching them customer SERVICE!!! Flat out pathetic I will never go there again!!! Doesn’t even deserve 1 star!
