Slick Willie’s Family Pool Hall

Our service was excellent (Stephanie is awesome!) but the drinks she brought were terrible. The bartender messed up a Magnum 357 and Long Island Iced Teas all within an hour. Neither were for me as I am a beer drinker, but the guys were not happy with their mixed drinks! Other than that, it’s a fun place to hang out at. There are plenty of pool tables with lots of space so you’re not constantly bumping into one another. Would definitely return, but I think we will only be ordering beer this time!

Another major chain within the Houston area, this particular Slick Willie’s is laden with plenty of pool lovers, nice tables, and cute waitresses. Service here has been great, prices are good, drinks are stiff, parking lot is decent, and the place is huge, making it an ideal spot to escape the bar scene for an alternative in nightlife fun with a little recreational twist.
The average pool shark shouldn’t have trouble finding a table, its keeping it that may be a problem as others may wait in line especially during the busy weekends. There is a full bar out in the front and a handful of arcade games along the side. The tables themselves are large and well maintained, with little scuffs or scratches in the fabric. Hard to believe but the sticks are all fairly nice as well, seeing as most of the «pros» will bring their own stick anyway leaving the venue inventory to the amateurs like myself.
Bathrooms are so-​so, the men’s room has a putrid, humid urine odor similar to the musty smell of fresh baked pie out of the oven. One thing that might be an immediate turnoff is how smokey the place is, its very possible that one will reek of cigarettes upon leaving the premises.
