I came here for lunch and had the flat bread Mediterranean pizza and my daughter had the BLT. My sister had the turkey sandwich with the broccoli and cheese soup. It was a little pricey for a sandwich place but the food was good. They were attentive and even took the time to stop by our table and ask how everything was.

Was ok. Nothing to write home about. Had baked potato soup which was way more watery than I thought it would be. Also had turkey sandwich. It was basic. Don’t think I would go back unless someone wanted me to go with them.

I went to the Spicy Pickle today and got a Parisian Wrap. The wait was 25 minutes for a wrap to go. The flavor was good, but there was literally about 2 strips of chicken in my wrap. the rest was lettuce. The was my second time going there, after today and for the price I paid for my wrap that will be my last visit.

Overpriced and mediocre quality. Charged me $ 10 for a BLT sandwich. No drink or chips. Ridiculous. Won’t be back

Yum yum yum! We were starving Californians in Houston and wanted something fresh and cold to beat the heat. I am so sad that we don’t have one of these in San Diego! I was able to split a turkey with corn relish and a turkey with roasted tomatoes and mozzarella. They were both beautifully seasoned and had fresh ingredients. Would love to eat here again in the future!

Great light meal. Tasty flatbread pizza, if you like a thin crispy crust, which I do! Gexcellent Greek salad delicious! You’ll enjoy the atmosphere. Only negative is the squeaky fan that was irritating.

The Spicy Pickle on Katy Freeway served great, fresh food in a very friendly and clean atmosphere. I loved the pannini sandwiches with side pasta. I will be returning soon. Love it!

I’ve been driving past this place for at least a year and finally decided to try it. I had a La Rancha wrap. It wasn’t anything special. But a nice size wrap, chips and a drink for less than $ 10? Great lunch! I will definitely come back, would like to try some other items on the menu. I imagine this place gets pretty busy around lunch but I was here around 2pm so it was pretty slow. Service was quick and when I said j hadn’t been there before they quickly told me their best selling items and were very helpful.

I had the tuna salad and it was good. I can’t complain and it was fresh and tasty. My coworker had a half sandwich and soup and it looked kind of small and sad. If I worked in the area I would probably stop by for a bite to eat once in a while. The prices weren’t that bad(says the lady that worked on the east coast for 10 years). It was like 6 – 7 bucks for a salad or sandwich. Service was fast too.

Good place for a quick some what healthy meal. Kind of reminded me of Panera Bread for some reason. The service is great and food comes out quick! They give a spicy pickle with each meal !

For the most part this is a good place to eat somewhat healthy if you need something quick. Fast service, a menu with variety and even a few good options for vegetarians. That being said, I can’t give it any more stars because of the«coffee situation.» You see, when you enter the Spicy Pickle building, you see a big sign for«Caribou Coffee.» There’s another big sign by the drink machine. On every table is an informative brochure about Caribou Coffee. Now, I’m not one to jump to conclusions or make assumptions… but I kind of got the idea they served coffee. So, last Sunday I ordered some. I ordered the Caribou Coffee. The young man taking my order didn’t even pause before saying, «We don’t serve coffee here.» Now you can imagine my surprise. He didn’t say they were out of coffee. He didn’t say there wasn’t coffee today. He said, «We don’t serve coffee HERE.» Period. No coffee for you. Here. «But, But…» «We don’t serve coffee here.» So I stagger around confused for a second looking helplessly at all the signage for the coffee, then turn back to the cashier and feebly ask for water instead. When I sit down, I see the signs for Caribou Coffee on my table and wonder aloud to my boyfriend, «…So do they just want me to know it exists??» Long story short, good sandwiches but they don’t serve coffee here.

I ordered the turkey panini, loaded baked potatoe soup and a tuna on a salad. The food was very fresh and the cheese that they use is very rich and favorful, Which made me want to try their pizza on my next go round. I don’t know where they get the name spicy pickle because clearly their it factor is the cheese!!! I will most definitely be going back.

Convenient location and very clean inside. Everything on the menu sounded really good. The sweet girl at the register recommended the Adobe panini so I tried it and it was very disappointing. Not only did it tasted bland but the little flavor it had tasted weird. I tried putting Siracha on it and it didn’t make it taste any better. I chose the pasta salad for my side and it came in a condiment container. AREYOUSERIOUS?!(I’m serious, see picture) I guess it would’ve been a waste if they gave me anymore than they did because I had one bite of it and threw it away. One whole panini and a small side pasta salad cost me $ 10 — not including a drink. This is the first time I feel like I’ve wasted $ 10 on food.

My how time can change an opinion. This was my fav sandwich place, but it has been very inconsistent and unappetizing lately. I had the open faced Latvia sandwich last time I went(limited time only)…grilled chicken, basil, tomatoes, cheese on bread. It sounded good, but I was not a fan. The«basil» was really spinach sliced like basil, which did nothing for the sandwich flavor-wise. The tomatoes tasted like soft/mushy red bell peppers… meh. The chicken was not good quality meat… I picked most of it off. So I was left with… spinach, cheese and bread… boring. That being said, their tuna is very good still, as are the spicy pickles, of course. I’m not sure what they’re doing… the menu seems to have expanded, but the quality isn’t what it was. Too bad, Spicy Pickle, I really liked you.

A little pricey, but pretty good food. Had the bandido and it was a great panini sandwich. The prices could be lowered a bit in my mind but the overall satisfaction of this place is well received in my mind. I rate this 4⁄5.

If white bread and corn bread had a hot steamy affair, their love child would be one of the artisan breads of Spicy Pickle. I’ll give them credit for the crispy exterior of the bread, but the sammy was a bit dry for my liking, despite the spread, and melty cheese goodness. They’ve got a catchy name! I’ll have to try other things on the menu before I upgrade them star-wise. Kudos for not using preservatives, msg, or trans fats in making of their food.

This place was a pretty good find! Found it on Unilocal when searching for some close by sandwhiches. Lots of parking in the lot, so easy to get in and out of. The place was really clean and appealing inside. The menu was not overwhelming, but had a nice variety of items. The staff was effiecent and friendly. My order came out quick, correct, and all the extra to go supplies without asking :) Ordered 3 of the ½ & ½ combos. The salads were very fresh and yummy. The sandwhiches were equally good. Definetly a good place to stop in for a tasty quick lunch!

I’m glad I decided to try the Pickle. It was good food and it was fast. It’s in a typical strip mall, right next to a Starbucks. Parking was fine. The building was nothing special. Inside it was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. They have a large selection of soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches and paninis. I’m guessing they’re all served with their signature pickle? Everything looked tasty. I had the Bandido. It was marked as spicy, and it was spicy enough to leave a tingle in my mouth, but not spicy enough that it’d satisfy my ghost pepper-eating-father. My only complaint is that the sun-dried tomatoes wasn’t spread out very evenly on the bread and it made for a mix of tomato rich and tomato dry bites. Other than that, it was excellent. The pickle was spicy, but it was just a pickle.

I’ve been avoiding this place for quite awhile now, but after my first visit, I completely don’t understand why. Perhaps it was the name that threw me off because I’m not a huge fan of pickles, whatever the case I’m glad I had my first experience. Spicy Pickle serves sandwiches, soups, and salads. I was specifically their for their sandwiches, but when the lady taking my order asked if I wanted a whole sandwich or half and half(half sandwich or half soup or half salad), I said sure give me the half sandwich and soup. I had the cold cut Italian sandwich, but for those who prefer a hot sandwich, they do provide hot sandwiches pressed like a panini. The sandwich was pleasantly surprisingly good. The bread was nice and soft. I’m very particular when it comes to bread, but fortunately Spicy Pickle past the test. The cold cut meats were just the right portion and of really good quality. The soup was a shocker. but in a good way. Most places from my experience that serve soup at a sandwich place is usually after thought, but the corn soup that I ordered was packed with a lot of flavor and came out in the temperature that I prefer.
