My husband and I decided to go wash outside our house today and went to spin cycle at 8:10pm they close at 9pm. Well the Asian guy that was working said we could only use the washer that cost $ 6 but my load was only big enough for the $ 2 wash. I asked him if I could use the $ 2 wash he walked off. Well when I asked him for change for $ 100 he said no. So I then I asked him for quarters for 4 dollars he said he didn’t have change. I asked him why was he. Being such an asshole to me I just want to wash. He told me «GETTHEHELLOUT». I left very upset. You just don’t treat customers the way he was treating me.

Paul was working there while I did my laundry this week. I really like all the new machines, TV, soaps, softeners and signs. The dryers run hot so be careful how long and how little output in them. Designed for large capacity quick cycles. I would like to see Paul smile at least once and I think I got a slight smirk from him today. I hate to think about what weights he’s caring around that he feels so glum about, it’s apparent that he needs Christ in his life. I’ll be back.

When I first came to this business I loved the female employee. Helpful, pleasant and welcoming. Washing was simple, clean and quiet. Now with this new ownership they have brought third world living conditions to a business and has driven customers away. The new owner manager has a ugly disposition and appears to not want to service you. His manner of business is none. He has altered his machines to take out the prewash cycle so your clothes only wash for 9 minutes. He has removed all acces to wash/sinks to wash hands and keep your machine clean while on use. He locks the bathroom and feigns a hearing loss when access is requested. Please relate your business to the area and customers you serve. You lower your standards and regard your customers aa something other than paying and deserving of respect you will surely get what you design it to be… nothing! Not another dime or referral and every factual deferral I can find. Do not give a business your money that shows you contempt!!!0 stars.

I don’t know why I keep coming here but not coming anymore. Washing is ok but their drying machines are a mess. They burned our sheets before because one of the dryer machines overheated. Now, they have labels warning customers about burnt items not being their responsibility. Went back and now one of their dryer didn’t event work and waited 15 minutes to find out. I always do 15 minute drying for a small load and does the job and the guy there kept saying that I needed at least 30 minutes… for a small load. He was pretty rude about it too. So done with this place.

In the movies(Shopgirl for one) laundromats feature attractive young people mingling while their 3 or 4 items of clothing is getting clean and then they end up meeting across the street for coffee and then becoming romantically involved and such. The Spincycle is absolutely nothing like that. Sorry. They are however the only laundromat in the galleria area so if you need to get your clothes clean, you will go there and like it. The only times I’ve come here is when I’ve forgotten to recharge my laundry card from my apartment’s laundry center and the office was closed and one time a double whammy where not only my laundry center was closed but the washing machine at my other house died mid-wash and I had to drag heavy wet clothes to this place so they can be a lifesaver. As for the place– it’s reasonably clean and there is a helpful lady who works there if you have problems with a machine or need change and such. They are a bit expensive though — $ 1.75 for ancient top loader single, $ 2.75 for a «double» which honestly is more like a single and $ 3.50 for you big spenders on the quadruple load.(It’s the Ron Jeremy of washing machines). Still, I can’t imagine these places can stay in business without charging more than the apartments so it is what it is(god I hate saying that). The machines are old but work pretty fast and are industrial grade. You can also treat a new found friend there to a delicious but garlicy shwarma next door.

Hate this place. I’ve been doing my laundry here for about a year. Over the year I noticed more and more«Out of order» signs on the washer and dryers that never get fixed. This place is slowly falling apart. I brought a new comforter set to be washed before putting it on my bed & the dryer burned my comforter. I put it in the dryer, paid for it & put it on MEDIUM heat and turn around, next thing I know I smell smoke. I open up the dryer and the smell damn near choked me. The only thing the attendant offered me was to wash and dry it again to get the smell out. Never going back again.

My first time experience to a Washateria and it wasn’t bad at all. Like others have said, it wasn’t too busy for a Sunday around 3ish. The cost was $ 3.50 for the 4 load washers and $ 4.25 for the 5 load washers. All dryers are 50 cent for 8 mins. The place was fairly clean and the temperature inside was tolerable.

This is a pretty clean laundromat. The single load washers are a bit pricy($ 1.75 per load/machine) with the multi-load washers going up in price. The dryers are quite numerous and do a good job. Each time I have come it has been slow, which is nice. It’s definitely one of the better laundromats in the area. Oh, and it HAS WiFi… but it doesn’t work.

This is just ok. As a washateria goes this is one of the cleaner ones around. Really my only complaint is that not all of the washing machines work all the time. This is countered by the fact that it is never busy and I usually go in the evenings. If your dryer or washer goes out like mine then give this a shot for a temporary fix.
