Springwood Park

This is a very nice apartment community with a lot more potential. All the staff at this point are very friendly and the new office manager desire is very attentive and polite. This community has a great location especially being just minuets away from both i10 and beltway 8. They are under new management which he nice because the old management company was awful to say the least, or at least the staff that worked this community. I have to take a star away because a couple of things we were promised like a garage in which I was going to be paying for were unavailable and this was a mistake of the manager who was working here before. Also several things which were noted were broken or not to proper standard were not fixed even after we turned our walk through checklist from when we first moved in. But not to worry if you are planning to move here or are looking into this place the new office staff and manager will not disappoint and this place is really worth moving too. This neighborhood can only get better especially considering all that’s coming up around it including the huge bunker hill HEB which is surrounded by upscale housing and across the freeway a couple
Minuets away you’ll find the prominent memorial village homes. To be honest had it not been for the new management and staff i would be giving this place 2 stars but bravo for all the improvement.

I believe this community has a lot of potential when it comes to location, and units! We just moved here back in October of 2015. When we first saw interest in this community we talked to Tina and she was outstanding she went above and beyond to give us what we wanted which was a 3 bedroom townhome and unfortunately there was none at the time but she did say that there was one available until October so we waited! Once we moved Tina the lease office agent had left! We were devastated she was a true good asset to this community and we were left with someone else who had no clue what was going on. This community is very close to I-​10, memorial city mall, and as well as citycentre! They used to have 2 pools but once Berkshire bought them they took away the smaller pool and converted it into a dog park! They are still in the process of renovations and all which is nice but can be a bit of a hassle since maintenance and other companies come in and out of your apartment. I do have to give them a lesser star because for one there is one tenant or maybe one of the tenants knows a guy with a very loud bike or car and they keep making noise late at night which is highly annoying wish we would have ²⁴⁄₇ security. Also right after we moved in and things like the towel hanger and toilet paper holder in two of the restrooms quickly fell and also some kind of mold started growing in one of the restrooms
