Stereo Hut

They ruined my 08 accord. Such idiots he decided to break out the stock speakers when they didn’t notice that there is a you tube video of how to not ruin the car and properly take speakers out. Also the JLs 6.5 new and installed had holes drilled through the cone. I would tell everyone I know not to go to this shit hole of a place they do not know what they are doing

Recently I was in the market for a very specific JL subwoofer for my new car. I looked online for authorized retailers around town and began making some calls. Many shops did not carry the item, a JL 8″ w3v3 aub in a factory ported box, but said they could ship it for an additional 15 – 20 dollars. Other shops had it but the prices were overly expensive.
I called stereo hut and spoke with the owner who told me that they had the sub in stock for $ 225, which was even cheaper than the price online BEFORE shipping. I saw some negative feedback but thought that I would give it a shot since the price was reasonable. I went there after work to pick it up.
The shop is not the biggest, but it is filled with any type of car audio or electronic device you could ask for. The owner greeted me and shook my hand, and showed me the subwoofer. I bought it, he gave me the reciept and I was on my way.
About a month later the subwoofer broke so I went back to explain the situation. He said that it was still under factory warranty and that I could leave the sub with him and he would dissassemble and ship it off to JL. 2 weeks later he gave me a call and I went back and picked it up and only had to pay the shipping costs, which were very reasonable considering the weight. Super convenient and easy and best of all, a brand new sub from the factory, no questions asked!
The owner was very knowledgeable and honest unlike many other car stereo businesses that I have delt with in the past. Great customer service too. This has become my go-​to place for anything electronic for my car.

I would not recommend this store to anyone, he tries to take advantage of his customers by charging way too much. I have had a few friends get systems here, an installation takes longer than promised, and if they ever need maintenance he tries to charge you through the roof.

This place is a joke. Owner told me $ 35 to install my radio. After they finished, he told me $ 80. What a rip-​off-​artist. 4 thumbs down for this shack.
