Strata Roofing and Construction

Prompt response to request for repair estimate. Personal assessment made. Took time to climb into attic to see damage from leak to help determine repair. Awaiting estimate for repair to flat tile roof.

We contracted with Strata Roofing in May to have our roof replaced due to hail damage from a storm in April. Working from a detailed estimate from our insurance company, Strata agreed to do the entire job for the exact amount covered by our carrier. The job was to commence some time in July due to scheduling, weather and a few other factors.
The July date bumped into early August, which initially brought us some angst, but it all worked out.
*With a 2700 square foot, 2-​story house and 2-​car detached garage, ours was a big job, particularly with the steep roof and the 100+ degree heat wave that we were experiencing.
*Strata’s work crew showed up early in the morning before the sun came up. Working hard all day long, they left nearly 14 hours later only to return the following morning about the same time to finish up our job.
* Prior to the crew beginning their work, they made sure we had whatever vehicles we wanted moved out in the street and accessible. They also made sure that our dogs had been «pottied» so that once they got to work, things would be easier on the canine troupe I have living here.
* Clean up when they left after the first day was pretty good; I wanted them to be particularly cognizant of the nails that may remain in the back yard for the dogs’ safety, and they were — they only missed a few, but that’s understandable since they left when it had gotten dark.
*Clean up the second day after the roof was completed was exceptional: these guys got it right after going over my yard completely with multiple rakes, brooms, blowers and varying-​sized magnets to make sure that no nails had been left behind.
*The roof itself looks great; all of the vents look evenly placed and the overall appearance was pleasing. Coincidentally, a rainstorm occurred about 3 hours after completion, so I ran around the house to check for potential leaks and could find none.
*Several subcontractors were used in this job. The window sub-​contractor arrived two days after the roof was done: Beautiful job.
*The same day as the windows were completed, the gutter sub-​contractor also arrived to measure and let us know he would be out the first of the following week. Nice work when he did come several days later.
*Some of our siding needed to be replaced during all of this, so yet another sub-​contractor was called in to help us out with that. Exceptional work done there, and at an incredibly reasonable price.
*Communication with Bryan at Strata was easy. Phone calls were always answered, but if I decided to communicate something more detailed at an inconvenient time, I’d send an email. Emails were always answered within 24 hours. Sweet.
There were many details to be worked out during a very hectic time to complete the job that I had contracted for Strata Roofing & Construction to complete. All in all, this was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend them. As soon as I ascertain the specific details of the sub-​contractors, I will review them as well. Everyone connected with this multiple-​week repair did exceptional work and they are definitely worthy of being placed in my own personal file of repairmen to call.
This review is obviously not only for Strata’s ability to repair my roof, but it’s also for their ability to sub-​contract out the other repairs that needed to be done in conjunction to complete the total repair. Strata truly did an impeccable job of delivery on all levels. Nice work all around.

Very professional crews and office staff. Did a great job repairing a leaking roof. The crew worked safely and quickly and payment was accepted after the job was completely successfully. We will use this company again for any future roofing needs.

Had a new roof done by these guys Monday!!! WOW! Talk about a crew! While my house isn’t the largest I’m sure they have done (it’s about 1600 sq ft) they treated my job as if it was a big one! They showed up at about 7 am and by about 6:30−7 pm they were done!!! They left my yard cleaner than before they started! Yes a new roof can be a bit of a headache — literally — the noise it entails & my poor dogs freaking out all day lol — but what a bang up job they did! They maybe took a 30 minute break for lunch (a WELL DESERVED ONE IN MY mind) and were right back at it!!! God forbid I need a new roof in the next 20 years but should the unthinkable happen they will be my one & only call!!! Job well done guys! My new roof is GORGEOUS!!!
