Studio 6 has really upgraded since my last stay 2 years ago. I stayed at a S6 in Dallas for about 2 months for temporary work in 2013 and now staying here in Houston for about a month now and must I say what a change. They have remodeled their rooms and it has made my stay more comfortable. For the price compared to other extended stay hotels it is not bad at all. I have had a great experience with the staff since I was successfully relocated to a different room due to issues with the first room they had me in(the electricity breaker did not work properly) the same day I made the request. I also made a trip out of town the other night and came in around 4AM to find my room keys not functioning and sure enough the staff helped me right away into my room. The property is plenty safe as I have not had any issues, they do have security on premises at night. Overall great experience my only complaint is that the cooking utensils are not the best and the Internet is slow!

I’m usually not that picky but this is my worst hotel experience ever. There was a major infestation in my room of multiple species of bugs. I brought my bags in took a shower and they were literally crawling Everywhere when I got out. The walls the furniture, the floor. There was not a surface that didn’t have at least one bug on it. I had a panic attack because I saw a live bed bug as well. Really freaked out and I’m paranoid one of them might have gotten into my things. When I first walked in I saw a dead German roach on the kitchen floor. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and I regret it. I read that other guys review saying it was dirty and I doubted him and thought he overreacted. They couldn’t pay me to stay here either. Do yourself a favor and fully inspect your room before you bring your bags in if you want to take the chance with this place.

If I could leave negative 36 stars, I definitely would. I stayed here last year when I moved to Houston, against my better judgment, and have to detail this experience out. Since this was very close to my new office and I only needed to stay here for 2 days while I waited for my apartment lease to begin, I overlooked the fact that it was a motel. I usually refuse to stay at motels and this belief has only been magnified since my experience. I got into my first room and put all my stuff down. The place seemed fine, with a kitchenette and decently clean bathroom. That is, until I looked at the bed. I lifted up the sheets and there was a HUGE blood stain on the mattress that oozed onto the floor. This was dried blood, but was literally enough to make me gag. This was not an «I cut my finger» type of cut, either. This was a «I just got shot in a drug deal gone wrong» blood stain that the staff CLEARLY had seen. I went to the front office, promptly handed in my keys, and left. I was not even offered a refund and the front staff literally just responded, «oh, wow» when I told her about my experience. You could seriously offer to pay me like $ 12,594.39 to stay a night here and I would tell you to go kick rocks. It is disgusting.

This place isn’t bad. They have all the stuff you need to Cook and a coffee pot. Its kinda out dated and small. But for the price compared to others like it not bad probably the best place doe your money if you wanna go cheap. Call ahead they stay packed.

Now I’m pissed. These mufuckas say that I have to do my own sheets because it’s not a house keeping day. Had the lady done her job yesterday I’d have clean sheets. $ 860 and I have to play house keeper. The door doesn’t always close unless you do some strategic shit, the carpet is dingy and covered with dirt even though they vacuumed. Oh and you have to pay $ 5 to use the WiFi on one device. Now I have to look for another extended stay.
