these guys never do the promotions that are offered on TV. they need a more efficient staff this subway is in one of the busiest malls in america and there is no time for slow workers. the owners own the Sonic next to it is closed due to a fire…

Subway serves a standard product and if you go here you will get a somewhat standard subway sandwich because the ingredients are the same. I can understand that they sometimes run out of certain things — its a busy location, but what I cannnot stand is the haphazard and thoughless way they make my sandwich. Yesterday I asked for green peppers and they too a quick scoop out of the bin and placed them all on exactly half of my footlong sandwich. LOOKATWHATYOUAREDOING! IF I ASKFORGREENPEPPERS I WANTTHEMONTHEENTIRESANDWICH! THISISNOT A HALFANDHALFPIZZA I’M ORDERING! That being said, I will still go here for my sandwich becuase it is convenient. Tomorrow is my last day in the area so I’ll probably give them a piece of my mind. I imagine the cashier will have a snide comment to make. She seems like a grumpy, rude sort of woman.

The line is always long during peak hours. They are quite efficient but only because they count the amount of toppings. 3 black olives on a veggie… really. They charge for all extras. I am a vegetarian and this is the slimmest Subway veggie ever. I will probably be hungry again in an hour. Don’t waste your money at this subway.

So, I’ve read the reviews after going to Subway in the Galleria. I was hungry and I wanted to eat healthier because I’ve been eating so horribly, ha! The location was busy and the line seemed a tad long, but the mall was packed and the place is small, so the line looked exaggerated. The three person team was quick and efficient: one cutting the bread, placing the protein(‘cept the veggie sandwich), dairy and toasting, the other toppings and last cashier. There were several people who were indecisive with their choice toppings and that can delay the wait but I was in line for no more than what seemed 10 mins before I received my sandwich. Not bad, not bad at all.

I enjoy a good Subway sandwich every now and than, but this Subway shop is horrible. It is located in the food court of the Galleria. I always find the lines long and slow. The sandwich artists are not friendly or helpful. I tried using a coupon a few times and it was the biggest deal to use it at their store. There are much better options to eat if you leave the Galleria complex.

Usually a Subway is a Subway, which is 3 stars. I’ll give extra consideration for the ones that serve the seafood(krab) sub(I’m addicted to it), but beyond that, it’s a Subway. The reason this one only scores 2 stars is because of the lady that prepares the sandwiches initially. The place gets very busy for lunch, and there’s pressure to keep the line moving. And I get that. But what’s annoying is the lady has by far the most piercing voice I’ve heard in a long time. When you visit here all you’ll hear about once a minute is «NEXTPLEASE!» And if the person doesn’t respond right away(because they’re 3 people away from her), she’ll get aggravated and louder. «NEXTPLEASE!!!» Look — I grok needing to keep people moving through there, but come on… «NEXTPLEASE!!!»

It’s hard to give a good rating to any restaurant in a mall, but even so, I try to keep it fair. Being one of the healthier food-court considerations, I probably visit this Subway more than any other. As far as Subways go, it could be better. It just seems that everything is a little more fresh in standalone stores. When your slogan is «eat fresh,» that’s important. While I’d usually rate restaurants a little higher given that they’re in a food court, I can’t in good conscience give these guys any better than 2 stars.
