We stopped in here looking for a quick burger, but man they were juicy. About $ 7 including tax for a burger basket but its for ½ pound meat, fries, drink and the burger is huge. The staff was very friendly and it was somewhat cozy. I felt very comfy here and will definitely be returning when I am in the area. Don’t let the outside fool you, this place is bomb and I am a very picky eater.

I think the owners changed. The place looks great, it’s new and improved. The food has also changed and it’s not as good. They got rid of the burger special. I ended up paying almost the same as I would at Whataburger. The cook is really friendly though, so that’s nice. The burger was alright.

The Suko’s burger is honestly the most delicious hamburger I’ve ever had. Avocados and bean sprouts with some mustard-ish sauce on some high quality hamburger meat. Ate it with sweet potato fries and vanilla cream soda. Delicious. Now I can’t eat hamburgers anywhere else because I am ruined. And Sean is very friendly and make me laugh.

My family started eat here 4 months ago, great service, taste and funny owner. I highly recommend this place for your burger stop. Yummy!!! Good food, I would go more often there if they would take debit/credit, right now cash only!

Great place! Hidden away for ages, in this run down plaza. This place has been around for a million years. The service is great; the couple who owns the place are friendly and cook the food well(the lady quickly cooked our food while the man worked the register. Aww, old people :). I also like that you can actually see them make the food, because sometimes I wonder what goes on in those kitchens. I got the fish burger, fries, onion rings. You buy the soda in a can, they have a large variety in the fridge. Others ordered the regular burgers, everyone was happy and finished their food fast. Oh, and the price is great! 5⁄5

$ 3 hamburger with tots and fries. It doesn’t get better than this. It’s about as good as fast food, except it’s freshly fried up. This place is the very definition of greasy spoon. My coworkers are afraid of it, and even I, the adventurous young man, take the stuff to go. I’d say the food is almost incidental to how weird the place is, starting with the craggy old Asian man ringing you up to the underwear for sale in the little counter store to the posters of the Virgin Mary on the tortilla chip warmer. It feels like this place is a front as I’m usually only one of two people there. I’ll miss this place when my office moves from the Fifth Ward.

Good ol’ Suko’s! Man, it seems this place has been around forever. If you are down in the East End and want to feed yourself on the cheap, then this is the place. Burgers, fries and fried rice not to mention cold sodas in the fridge. Make sure you check out the interesting odds and end for sale while you wait for your burger. I recommend the Cheese Fries.
