It was one of the worst experiences I have had in awhile, felt like I was in Mexico, didn’t speak English, had t to have someone translate, they got my order wrong, just wasn’t good, and won’t be back there anytime soon.

Pretty good little Taco /Food Truck in the middle of a food desert. I probably go here once per week and the food is always good to great. You can get tacos for $ 1.50, tortas/burritos for about $ 5, a gordita for $ 2. Their burritos are ok, I’d only get if I really want a burrito. The tacos w/fajita or carnitas are great, same with gorditas. I love the chicken Torta if I’m feeling sandwhichy. I had to go with 4 stars, as some days it’s 5 star food, most is 4 star and some days it might even be down by 3 stars. But, when you can get a good tasting lunch for under $ 5 right around the corner from the office, you won’t hear me complaining.

Don’t be fool this is not good tacos… pastor has consistency of red clay mud… gross. Lemonade was not lemonade.sucked. Salsa was so damn hot I had to wipe off the last taco I put it on(needed something to try and make taco salvageable)…salsa had me in tears, so did wasting my few bucks on lunch at this place… maybe the first location is better… :(

Super Tacos Lucy has been here as long as I can remember while growing up in the Greenspoint Area, with their distinctive bright pink truck on the side of the road, always tempting your curiosity until you take the dive and realize what you’ve been passing up for such a long time. Their tacos are delicious and are only $ 1.50 each, so you can get a lot if you’re feeling really hungry. Their tacos come standard with your choice of meat, onions, and cilantro, and you can add cheese for no additional charge if you’re looking for something a little less authentic. The tortas are great as well but sometimes they are really hit or miss on the bread. Sometimes it’s just slightly toasted, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and great, but sometimes I think they leave it on the grill a little too long because it’s too crispy and can be burnt and kind of fall apart on you. At $ 4 however, they are big and will definitely fill you up without destroying your wallet. Take my advice and get the green sauce, EVERYTIME you come here. It’s creamy and spicy and delicious and if they sold it by the bottle I’d have several in my home and would be eating it with a spoon right now. It’s that good. The location is really weird, on the side of a rather busy road and along side some pretty active train tracks as well, and the area for parking is pretty bumpy and full of holes that would make me uncomfortable driving through if I didn’t drive a truck. That’s really the only complaint I have though, which isn’t enough to deter me from stopping by if I’m in the area and need my taco fix.

I’m sorry! I feel terribyle writing this review, but I must. We ordered tacos«al pastor». This was not«al pasto» meat; it was shredded pork in a red sauce. Hubby had an «al pastor torta». We both ended up with terrible stomach aches. First and last time here too. We live and learn… Live and learn. Lol

Pretty great little find if you are in the area for work. Being cash, food is cheap and fresh. The lemonade is worth a trip back!

To be completely honest I wish I could give this place a 31\2. The food here is pretty freaken good. I only have 2 problems. 1. The location is kinda inconvenient if you were planning on just stopping in the area to eat. Its located next to a strip center of businesses that do a lot of transportation services and parts distributers, which is what brought my husband and I down there. But he says it stays fairly busy with the employees who work nearby alone. 2. The bread on the tortas is just alright. I’m a huge fan of yummy quality bread which was my whole reason for ordering a torta at a taco stand but I was sorely disappointed when I got my flattened, dry and crumbly bread. With the bitching out of the way I can tell you how impressed I was with everything else. To start, the homemade fruit juices are fantastic. The lemonade was spot on. In all we got 2 beef tortas, one carnita taco and one beef taco with avocado and only spent $ 14! The meat was really yummy and the tortillas had been slightly toasted so the taco held form and added a little crunch. The fresh cilantro, onions and jalepenos add a really nice touch. To finish it off the green hot sauce is amazing. I would much rather«put that shit on everything» than I would franks red hot. In close, this is a pretty good alternative to fast food if you happen to be in the area.

After some recommendations from a couple of the technicians we work with, my co-workers and I dropped by this little truck to give it a shot. We ordered two chicken tacos on flour tortillas, two beef tacos on flour tortillas, one order of barbacoa nachos, and then a beef quesadilla. Everything we ordered was very flavorful and exactly what we were hoping to get from the truck. We initially planned on supplementing the lunches we brought with the food we purchased but, after starting with the tacos, we were just too full to eat our packed lunches. Flavorful and filling food for very low prices!

«It was a dark and stormy night.» — Snoopy starts his Unilocal review, but has writer’s block as usual. So, I’ll take it from here. Lucy is selling tacos for Peanuts! «Oh good grief!» — Charlie Brown(on this theme) «The(taco) doctor is in.»(i.e. Lucy) This truck and cover has been here for years and has many regulars, mainly nearby industrial or construction customers, since it’s so far off I-45. «If only I could talk to the little red-headed girl.» — Charlie Brown No redheads here. So, I asked four people waiting for their orders what they liked. Each of them always orders their favorite item because they like it so much. I guess they don’t want the football pulled away when about to kick it. But each of the regulars has different favorite item. So, I go for two tacos: Pastor and Beef fajitas «Happiness is a warm blanket» — Linus Each taco is wrapped in a double corn tortilla and is delicious, as good if not better than my previous taco truck adventures. One thing is clearly better: Lucy’s has great green sauce(creamy avocado, jalapeño cilantro). The red sauce is just OK. But unlike the food of my review below, this food doesn’t last as long(please don’t tuck tacos under the bed).
