Terrible service and disappointing food:/ You have to stand in a long, confusing line to order your food.

I so wished this place was great. It would be so convient to eat brunch before I do my weekly shop. A mimosa would take the edge off a stressful grocery trip. I have tried every item on their brunch menu hoping that it would satisfy me. All were disappointing besides the jarred egg. Alas, one egg isn’t enough to fill me up though :( Maybe in second place would be their bananas foster cinnamon bun. The bun isn’t fresh. It’s dry. The bananas on top are good. I do like that they have live music on sundays.

I love this place. The food is outstanding, the brew selection though small, is perfect, and the staff is super friendly!

Fantastic menu, great live music and excellent food. Can’t ask for much more. My wife and I each ordered the turkey chipotle sandwich. Unfortunately, like everywhere else in Houston, they didn’t have turkey. Donna took our order and recommended chicken, as a substitute. It was a phenomenal combination. The hickory smoked chicken added even more flavor to a wonderful sandwich. She was very friendly and helpful, as this was my first time coming. The staff was very attentive, especially Alec, the manager. Manuel brought our food out and made sure everything was perfect. They came over several times to see how everything was. I’m only name dropping because everyone introduced themselves and made a point to make us feel welcome. We will definitely be back and recommend Table 57 highly!

When I invited my Mommy Group here they were skeptical, they thought it would be similar to food court fare. Everyone was so impressed by the menu, the service, the ambience. Tyler helped bring our food out and he was so accommodating and thoughtful. He helped us with high chairs and clearing plates. I brought some friends back for brunch and they were amazed. The brunch menu includes a cinnamon roll topped with bacon and bananas foster! The Chef and a manager named, Alec came to check on us, there was live music and tv’s to watch football on. We were well taken care of and the food and champagne came at a great price! We will be back!

This place is awesome! Staff is on point and very attentive to the customers. Terry checked in on us many times and smiled while doing it along with Alec! Manuel and Donna were awesome as well. I will be coming back frequently along with more friends to share my experience of drinks and good food.

This place is great. Had a managers special and they modified it for my allergy with no problem. Alec the manager helped me out and the food was phenomenal and qunisha who took our order was great as well. Great food, great service… Mind blow for a café inside a grocery store.

Relaxed central market-esque atmosphere in this magnificent new HEB. This place is fantastic and great for large groups as you order separately and enjoy the wonders of the new HEB. The food is decent and they have a wide variety of new american dishes.

I don’t understand this place. The food is sooo good but the service is always just shy of horrible. The first time I went with some friends, one friend’s chicken dish was pretty much raw. An employee came out apologetically and allowed her to change her order and gave a little coupon. I figured it was a fluke then but now I know better. Since then, I’ve been back 3 times, each time with a missing item, incorrect item or no item at all because an order mysteriously was looked over twice. Yeah, how does that even happen? At this point, it almost seems that they are actively trying to mess things up. It’s so disappointing because, like I said, the food is great but it’s not worth the hassle anymore.

I enjoyed the food. We enjoyed sitting outside while the kids could climb and have fun. The wait for the food was a bit long but it seems as if everything is cooked to order. Prices are high, but again — pretty tasty!

I’ve finally come back after 6 months. My first experience was not a pleasant one, so it’s taken me a while to visit again. Two of my coworkers, who are regulars, convinced me to join them for lunch. Men can be very persuasive, and I am so glad I gave in. I had the Baja Fish Tacos, which are made with fried catfish and served with a salad that consists of spinach, avocado, bacon and tomato. Let me say that those tacos were absolutely delicious! The catfish was well seasoned and the Baja sauce definitely kicked them up a notch. The spinach salad was loaded with thick chunks of avocado and a ton of bacon. Extremely delicious! I must say that Table 57 definitely redeemed themselves today. I will definitely be joining my coworkers for lunch again real soon. It helps that they are young and sexy too! ;-) Here’s a little trivia… The 57 in Table 57 is derived from the zip code in which it resides…77057.

Table 57 was so adorable! I finally stopped in there before grocery shopping at HEB for brunch, and loved it! The portions are just right(not too big, not too small), the service was helpful, and the food was delicious. You order at the front of the restaurant, and then go in and take your seat with a buzzer for your food. I’m not quite sure why they have the buzzers, because they brought us(and those around us) our food. That could be because it wasn’t too crowded yet though. The interior was cozy, trendy, and clean. I liked that they had a glass wall so you could see the kitchen. I ordered their Traditional Breakfast with 2 eggs, English muffin, choice of Sausage/Bacon, and choice of Potatoes/Mixed Fruit. I got scrambled, bacon, and mixed fruit. It was fresh, it was hot, and I loved it. You can’t really go wrong with that order. My boyfriend ate the bacon from my dish, and he said it was awesome! It looked thick and juicy! He ordered their Korean Fried Chicken and Waffles. It looked amazing, and he said the chicken was«fire» which means it’s excellent. It looked like they put a whole bird on his plate and then he got two small circle waffles on either side of the chicken. To top it off, we each got a mimosa that was delicious. We sat at the bar so they mixed it right in front of us! Loved this place! I think this would be great for a quick bite and it’s good pricing!

WOW. I really underestimated this place. You may assume you won’t get great service and good food at a grocery store restaurant, but this is giving Whole Foods a run for their money! I shop at this HEB almost 3−4x’s a week, but I’ve never tried Table 57(except when I had to wait an hour to purchase champagne when I brilliantly decided to go to the store at 11 am on a Sunday and needed a place to sit! Turns out no alcohol purchases until noon on Sundays! FML). But moving along… this is a hidden gem. Although the dining area indoors isn’t huge, there’s a good amount of outdoor seating. Sometimes a live band is even playing! I ordered a simple burger and it was delicious! Perfectly buttered/toasted bread and a nice juicy patty. Everything was amazingly fresh. My colleague ordered a brisket loaded potato that looked like sex. OMFG. I’m ordering that next visit. The menu is a little random. They had everything from Korean spicy wings to shrimp and grits. They also serve BBQ plates. This is a safe bet for a mixed crowd unable to decide on a specific cuisine type. Although it is not full service, associates are constantly walking around to offer drink refills or to clear the table. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive.

Boyfriend and I were looking for a quick place to grab a bite to eat before he wemt to work, so we decided to give this place a try… we shop at the HEB all the time & it smells wonderful, so we figured what the heck. bad idea. To start, I wanted the chopped brisket loaded potato; was told that at 7pm they had no more potatoes left. They close at 10pm, and they are attached to a grocery store. What do you mean you are out? Finally decided on the turkey bacon avacodo sandwich, boyfriend went for the pork belly. Lady at the register forgets to ring one in, was confused on what we ordered(we had to repeat it 4 times) and couldn’t tell us what soft drinks they had on the fountain. Food came out quickly, but much to our dismay, it wasn’t very good. The turkey on my sandwich had no flavor, and they only good part on it was the bacon & avacodo. My boyfriends pork belly had to have been the fattiest cuts I’ve ever seen, so bad that he couldn’t even eat it. I know what decent pork belly looks like, and this wasn’t it. He asked for a BLT instead, and was told by the«manager» they he could maybe do that… mind you, I had all the ingredients they needed on my sandwich. 10 minites later, the saddest excuse for a BLT I’ve ever seen was brought to our table. Pictures show the injustice! NOTOMATO, ON A BLT??? And arugula instead of lettuce? No thanks. Needless to say, this was our first and LAST visit to Table 57.

I’ve been here several times and each time has been slightly better than the last. When they first opened, there was a lot of commotion, confusion, and long wait times for food. I chalked it up to being new and working out the kinks. The food is decently good. The price is kinda high for the level of tastiness, amount of food, level of service, and kitchen turnaround time. The place is not as busy as it once was. There’s been some improvements on both service and kitchen turnaround time. Not amazing on both fronts, just… Better. Like servers not wandering around to find your table and instead of waiting 40 minutes, you wait 15 for food. I enjoyed the two sandwiches I’ve had, chipotle avocado bacon and turkey sandwich and pork belly BLT. The fatty brisket was weird and not very fatty. The beans with the brisket is more of charro beans and not baked BBQ beans. The tostadas are stacked with toppings, which is good but makes it a little difficult to eat. The Korean fried chicken is good but isn’t double fried. They’ve been going about getting feedback. I said everything was great but realized after the fact that my pork belly BLT was sans arugula. Arugula!!! So sad. But it was still delicious. The sandwiches have been my favorite by far. There’s definitely room for improvement and it can be a great place if they get it together. Things aren’t horrible, but they can do so much better! There’s live music on the patio on the weekends. Also, if you shop at the HEB, they’ve given out great coupons for Table 57. We got a 2-meat BBQ plate with two sides and the pork belly BLT for $ 11 with a coupon. Win!

The first time I came to Table 57 it was their grand opening week, and it was packed which is a good thing for a new place. There were some kinks they needed to work out — straws in one container that were not wrapped(ew — germs!), bringing the wrong orders, and taking awhile to get our food. I believe second chances so I popped in here again with my husband for lunch. It was a pleasant surprise not to find a line, and our orders were taken pretty quickly. My other half ordered from the BBQ menu and got the two meat/two sides — St. Louis pork ribs, fatty brisket, mac and cheese, and potato salad — and he was quite pleased with everything. The mac and cheese is DELICIOUS as is the potato salad which is made with mustard, not mayonnaise. My Creole Shrimp and Grits plate was good too; however, the grits were soaked and covered in too much of the New Orleans BBQ sauce which lost some of the consistency of the grits. Overall great experience — I’ll definitely put this place on my lunch rotation for sure.

My friends were out and about from the ‘burbs and asked for recommendations near the Galleria for us to catch up and grab a bite. I hastily suggested this place, despite my awareness that it hadn’t been received all that well because well, sometimes I make bad decisions, okay?! We order at the cashiers station and the cashier was quite lovely and nice. I obviously settled upon The Vegan and my friends selected a salad with a side of hot smoked salmon and a BBQ sandwich(I think it was the chopped pork?). The food arrived with relative haste, but oh boy, it was disappointing. The BBQ sandwich comprised primarily of a lot of bread and the scantest lump of sad looking meat. I suppose I should have considered this a victory, as a non-meat-eater, but instead I felt a tinge of embarrassment for being the one whom suggested this place. My other friend’s salad was confusing. The salmon chunks were neither hot, nor smoked. Just plain olé chunks of salmon. Very curious thing. .. As for The Vegan sandwich — it was okay. The exotic and enticing description of avocado, kale mash, soleggiati tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and sunflower sprouts belied the the measly contents between the two pieces of crusty focaccia bread. One of my sandwich pet peeves is a whole lot of bread, and not enough filling. It wasn’t the worst thing ever, but let’s just say I ate half of it and was reluctant to eat the other half temporarily banished in my refrigerator. I ordered the Lobster Tail Roll to-go for the husband and he reported that it was tasty, but he’s a pretty congenial dude whom pretends to like my cooking, so there’s that.

This place has potential if they work out the dynamics of the service. You wait in line for about 15 – 20 minutes and get a cashier that doesn’t greet you, but instead chit chats with a co-worker…RUDE. I also asked if it was possible to get fried chicken tenders for the waffles instead of bone-in chicken and she told me no. My boyfriend said he saw a man at the bar with chicken strips with the waffles… You receive a buzzer, so your food gets delivered to your table, but the employees walk around lost and confused Bc they can’t see your order number. Why not number stands? They don’t bring you silverware with your meal either… That doesn’t make sense to me. I ordered a carafe of mimosas, but was not told I needed to pick my drink order at the bar. I thought it would be delivered to the table considering I had a buzzer, also doesn’t make sense. My boyfriend and I ordered eggs Benedict and we were pleased for the most part. Our order took about 15 minutes, so not bad. I ordered the traditional with brisket and my boyfriend got southern style. I thought mine needed more salt or seasoning. It came with an arugula salad, but I couldn’t taste the dressing on mine. The southern style was a lot more flavorful. His also came with an arugula salad with a citrusy vinaigrette, which was tasty. This place wouldn’t be my first choice as of right now, but I’ll probably give them another chance to see if they improve. Like I said, there’s potential. There’s lots of seating and a good menu. They just need to work on the operation of service and proper execution on dishes.
