Took my order wrong, waited and waited while people after me got food, ignored by manager and cook staff because they were on their personal phones. Quesdillas was burnt on bottom. This place is a train wreck! Just close it down.

People want this food fast. last time I checked food takes time too cook. people need to be patient and then they get mad when it’s not done right because they got rushed. sitting and seeing these people for an hour while I ate and just observed. People are so ungrateful and just plan ignorant. These employees do a good job. Even being short handed all the time. People need to learn patience

This Taco C location REALLY sucks. It’s walking distance for me so I keep giving it extra chances but I think last night was the last straw. One day I had extra guacamole at home, so I just wanted a bag of chips.(I used to work at Torchy’s and a full bag of chips is $ 1). Taco Cabana is apparently unable to just give you a bag of chips, only that small packet that fits 5 – 10 chips. Wow. So last night, I knew I wanted the food to-go but went inside(big mistake!!) because I wanted items from the salsa bar. We ordered the enchilada plate(the special right now), 6 beef tacos, and queso. Didnt get a number, waited 15 – 20 minutes. no, they werent busy. the whole time i was thinking, would we have been waiting in the drive thru for TWENTY minutes? got the food, of course it was missing queso so i made sure they added that. got home, apparently queso doesnt come with chips(are you freaking kidding me) or they just forgot them? My enchilada plate was missing guacamole and the extra tortillas. Oh yeah and we spent $ 20 for crappy food. We could have went to Torchys for that!!! Or anywhere really! SO frustrating. I feel bad cause some of the employees there are nice but this is ridiculous.

After another second horrible experience, I went to the gas station as a last resort. I’m from out of town and the staff was so uncordinated and messed up my order and the food was terrible. The manager was so rude I recommend that she goes back and get the college education in business management.

This particular location is no bueno. If you give them a simple order 3 times in a row they will screw it up. It’s like they don’t care. The food is not even good like other locations. It’s like they smash it all together and flatten everything out. Go to a different taco cabana for better food and service.

Ordered in the drive thru. Turned my vehicle off so they can clearly hear me. Ordered a large beef quesadilla with NO Pico, extra beef, and extra cheese. Also requested a large dr. Pepper. Pico on my food, and was almost given a diet coke. You really need to listen to your customers. If you have any doubt, repeat the order. There was no language barrier either.

A place has to be really bad for me to write a bad review… and this location was bad! We ordered a total of four meals and used the drive thru. We were told to pull around to the front of the building and our food would be carried out to us. The staff was very unprofessional and made no attempt at being friendly. After I pulled around to the front, I waited for 15 minutes for my food, but still nothing. I parked and went inside and complained. I was rudely told«they’re making it». Really?! I finally got my food, but with no apology for the horrible service. Then, when we opened the food when we got home, it was a mess. The plates were overturned and leaking everywhere. We asked for extra salsa, but only were given 4, not to mention the lids were not sealed properly and spilled in the bag. And my husband’s burrito was a disgrace… they need to watch a simple«How to Wrap a Burrito» video on Youtube. I won’t be back here. I can get better quality of food and a 15 minute wait for the same price for take-out at a nearby Mexican Restaurant.

A late night eating location. Their drive thru is 24 hours and I usually get the chicken flauta plate. It contains 3 chicken flautas, which are pretty crispy, but contain some dry chicken, beans, rice, shredded lettuce, guacamole, and 2 tortillas. I always ask for extra pico de gallo and they would give me 5 – 7 small containers and there’s always the ranch sauce that makes the flauta taste so much better and helps battle out the dryness. It’s not something that I would recommend to go during regular business hours, but I’ll go late at night if I don’t want to drive far.

I am sitting here at TC while writing this review. Usually wait until after I eat to write these but it has been 10minutes since I ordered a taco platter. There are only four tables besides mine in the whole place so it isn’t like they are busy. Food all over the floor, hateful cashier. Probably going somewhere else next time.

I tried to ignore the bad reviews. On 8÷3÷2015 I paid for extra guacamole that was brown. Must have been made early this morning to have ROT. If I wanted to eat old trash I would have stayed home and rummaged my trash can, which I will gladly do before I pay this business money again.

Wowwwww! I kid you not we waited over an hour for our FOUR breakfast tacos on a Sunday morning. I had never seen such a flustered, unorganized, horribly managed staff in my life. The place was a complete, utter mess. Dirty tables, no coffee, trash on floors and counters, wrong orders, furious customers asking for their money back. I felt so bad for the young female manager. You can imagine what that place was like. I had never experienced anything like this at any other Taco Cabana location. In spite of how close it is to our home, I’m definitely never going back to this location again.

This was by far our worst experience at this location. It took 30 minutes to get out food. My wife’s beans were dried out and inedible. My rice was cold and clumpy. The main courses were ok. The manager(I guess she was a manager) tried to make it right by giving us free chips and queso. That was nice, but it did not make up for the long wait. It seems like they need more motivation, or more workers.

It’s fast food. You can’t expect too much. I’ve ate here probably 10 times since I moved to the area. I’ve consistantly been served good food. Never any major issues. The staff friendliness is hit or miss. You never know. If you want hot, fresh fast food and don’t want a burger, this is a good option

Once again, I am disappointed with this location… This morning I wanted to stop to get breakfast and thought that I would go to this particular location because it is conveniently placed right outside of the office area. Last time I went thru the drive through a few months ago I had a bad experience with the food being cold and especially the rice being HARD. I mean I couldn’t even chew it, and was disgusted. Not only that but the freaking employee at the drive thru didn’t even have the decency to respond to my «thank you, have a great day!» I get that you hate your job but I am trying to make your day better — rude… I did indeed do the survey on my receipt and the manager of the location emailed saying I should come back for a free meal, but did I even bother going? No, what was the point? It was nice of her to do that but I didn’t feel right pulling up to the drive thru for that… Anyways, back to this morning, so I finally come around to get my turn in the drive thru which took a bit long. Then literally I sat there without a greeting or a simple«we’ll be right with you», I got so mad that I had to say«hello?» and she said«give me a moment.» So I said«Oh I’m sorry» and then got nothing back. I was there from 8:04 — 8:15am. I thought I would go by and give them another chance because I was craving a breakfast burrito from TC. Not to mention that thank God I had room to get out of the drive thru because as I was leaving she finally said«can I take your order?» No thanks… I doubt I will ever go to them again. I see the ratings, and my boyfriend and I base a lot of our decisions on where to eat from Unilocal reviews. It upsets me how bad their service is, I wouldn’t be so bitter if it didn’t happen so often.

This place was a huge disappointment and unfortunately a waste of my time. I am not one to leave bad reviews, but unfortunately, they left me no choice. At 10:40 pm in the evening, you have a strong chance of not waiting in a drive thru. In fact, in this case, there was no one there. My husband and I had to wait at the drive thru to put in our order bc HE was not ready. When we finally put our order in(after 5 minutes) we waited an additional 10 minutes at the window for the food. He and another woman employee were talking but appeared in no rush to complete our order. We ordered a large quesadilla and a cabana bowl. After repeating our order, I looked and he had mixed it all up. All the condiments that were supposed to be on our quesadillas ended up in the cabana bowl. He apologized, but did not change the order. I was so frustrated and drove off but didn’t notice that he didn’t even include silverware. So by the time I got home to kingwood, at least 35 minutes, I had to eat a soggy Cabana bowl with melted, blocky cheese and curdled sour cream. I’m never coming back to this taco cabana until I see workers more attentive and caring of their customers.

Personally, Taco Cabana is one of my favorite Mexican fast food places to go to. To me, the food is decent, the prices are fair, and you rarely run into a «no seats available» situation. This SH249 location seems to be situated at a good intersection. There is a ton of parking considering there used to be an HEB right behind it. As for the staff, there is this management lady there, not sure what her name is, but she does an outstanding job ensuring the customers are enjoying their meals. She walks around constantly ensuring the place is clean and making sure customers do not lack anything. I definitely will be back. :-)
