Taco Cabana

Their food is really good, but don’t ever go there late at night. I really enjoy their quesadillas and tacos during the day and love the breakfast burritos.
Unfortunately it’s not all good news. Their late-​night staff is very rude, and not helpful at all. On top of that I’ve been there three times where they have not given me all of my food. I don’t live close saw I get home and realize that they left out several pieces of my order. They’ve taken $ 20 from me without giving my food back. When I asked in the store to get my food they said they already gave it to me… Needless to say I’m a little upset

Unfortunately the food here is pretty awful. Nothing is fresh and the options are very soggy and wet. It’s kind of like a wet diaper. Fans of McDonald’s and similar fast food restaurants will probably enjoy this food, but unfortunately, I don’t think I will be back.

Terrible I work in the hospital area of memorial city so my schedule varies and I sometimes go to the 24 hour locations to grab a quick bite. I normally go to the t.c. on Katy freeway but they were doing maintenance or something they were closed. so I went here I had enchiladas the tortillas were hard and barely filled. The cheese was hard like it was microwave to long. If the other location is closed then I just will not eat t.c. not worth the trip down the beltway.

Worst taco cabana EVER! I ordered 2 crispy ground beef tacos. There was 1 car in front of me. It took 10 minutes to get my food. I get back to work & its chicken casadillas. Sad.

Grossest taco ever!!! They served me a taco dripping with grease with chard bacon crumbles on top of scrambled eggs.

It was really busy for lunch. The parking lot was a nightmare. The line for the drive-​thru wrapped around the building and blocked people from leaving. The food was good though. A typical taco cabana meal. The tortillas are always my favorite part. I may return but only on off times away from the lunch crowd

You know what was the first thing I craved upon coming back from Korea??? Tacos.
I enjoy Taco Cabana Taco’s because they bring me back memories from High School and the tortillas are always so warm, fluffy, and thick. Haha. I usually get the «Chicken Taco Combo», do not get this confused with the Chicken Fajita or else you will be upset. This chicken is like shredded chicken stewed in stuff… to me, it’s good. I chose Chips & Guacamole… next time I’ll get cheese because I found the guacamole too smooth and too acidic…
I love how you can get so much sauces at the bar and I always load up on Pico de Gallo and the cream salsa one. I love dipping my tacos in that creamy salsa one. It’s so sinfully fattening and delicious but it completely fulfills my craving for Tex-​Mex.
Mmmmm…tacos.
Kind of like an upgrade from Taco Bell? :]

I ordered two beef fajita tacos. I am 99% sure my meat was cooked Saturday or early Sunday. I am inclined to have my Mexican girlfriend, cousins, and grandparents come put a shame curse on the cooks.
Fajita meat had that green tincture. As meat does once cooked, refrigerated, reheated, partially cooled.
Go during lunch if you must or very very late at night. Usually after 2am everything tastes good.
Update: I wrote TC and after a week heard back from district and city managers. They had the store owner call and explain. On the meat, they said the reflective coloring is due to a preservative their meat distributor puts in the meat. (still doesn’t sound like a principle of freshness but appreciate the honesty). On the salsa, the cooler its stored in was broken. (still takes a minimum of 24hrs for mold to grow, back to questioning freshness)
Highlight: their customer service was awesome. They actually investigated and followed up. I appreciate that.

This Taco Cabana is quick and their breakfast tacos are quite good. I’ve also stopped by there late at night on weekends and they have always delivered my orders correctly.

Not a fan for lunch and dinner, but their breakfast tacos are fantastic for a fast food joint. It’s all about their homemade tortillas and salsa.
Lunch and dinner? Meh. For the same price you should head to a local Tex Mex joint instead of hitting up this place and get some better food. I do have a soft spot for Cabana Bowls though.
