Dr. Vu has been seeing me, my sisters, and my mother for all of our«woman wellness» needs for years. Growing up, I had no complaints about my visits with her, but after moving out and exploring other OB/GYNs during the last couple of years(esp. all the wonderful doctors at The Women’s Hospital), my last visit left me feeling really dissatisfied. Unlike other Unilocalers here, I’ve –thankfully– never experienced any insurance or payment issues at this office, so I have no comment on that. Staff is so-so: some of them are courteous and friendly; others are apathetic, impersonal, and seem like they’re just rushing you through your visit. Dr. Vu, herself, puts up a friendly front: she works quickly and efficiently(all my woman’s wellness check-ups lasted less than 20 minutes), but I don’t care much for her bedside etiquette. She’s very chatty, which I understand is a way to lessen the awkwardness of her being all up in yo biz down there, but her conversations are rushed and superficial. Although starting a family is still a few years down the road for me and my husband, I tried to ask for advice on how to prep my body for when the time comes –obviously a VERY personal topic for any woman– and Dr. Vu simply raced through her explanation. The only two words I heard clearly throughout her entire response was«prenatal vitatmins.» O-o-okay…thanks. That helps? I understand that we all want our check-ups to be quick and efficient, but for something as personal as that, I was hoping for more time and attention. Instead, I felt like I was being pushed out the door. Dr. Vu was my OB/GYN for years, but I think I’ll be going back to The Woman’s Hospital from now on. In a few years, I’ll be entering a critical period in my life where I’ll need more gentle guidance, attention, and time from my OB/GYN. I don’t think I’ll be finding that here.

Dr Vu is very amazing, efficient and friendly doctor. but her staff especially nurse is very very rude, unfriendly. I would like to go there to see Dr Vu but due to her staff ‘s attitude and behavior, may look for an alternate clinic.

Worst doctor I have ever had. It was my first time ever having a well woman’s visit and instead of making me feel comfortable she told me if I didn’t undress so she could check me she would just leave. Very rude! My insurance completely covers well woman’s visits and she still charged me twice so I would pay a copay. When I called about the double charge she refused to speak to me and threatened to have security called if I came down there. She then sent me to collections after less than a week of disputing and sent me a letter dropping me as a patient. I now go to the Women’s Specialist of Katy and have a much better experience! This woman should lose her license for defrauding insurance companies.

Worst doctors visit of my life. I couldn’t even tell you what was wrong with me because she had no idea, nor did she care. She was rude when I asked questions. Very uninformative. Her staff is rude. I would not recommend anyone to go here. It was a very disturbing and traumatic experience. I was in pain for days, I remember leaving crying. Also I have had a battle trying to pay for this because my insurance company is saying that she does not accept my insurance, when her staff continues to claim they do. More stress and pain then I would like or need. I wish I would of read the reviews on all of the patient sites before I went here.

This is not a nice doctor. –Demands money up front($ 1500.00) before scheduling a procedure.(Yes, I have insurance, she just«doesn’t like to fight with insurance companies for payment.» — Sounds fishy and underhanded to me!) –Calls me to schedule an appointment to discuss blood test results and expects to charge an office visit to my insurance as well as collect a copay. I didn’t ask to have to come in to your office… Just give me the results over the phone like my general practitioner does. –She sees patients as cash cows and nothing more. –Her bedside manner is non-existant. I am changing doctors. I refuse to give this woman any more of my time or money!
