Not going to lie– this place, when it first opened, was the . I think they changed managers or added new workers or something but the quality of the drinks has gone way down. Sigh.

Yo this place is the truth. I recently came here because it was close by house. I gotta say iit’s great, the staff and owner are friendly and nice. They engage with customers and the drink quality is amazing. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a new place to get a drink. Owner tells me that they are currently adding televisions and new things to entertain people.

Visited T-square at 9pm on a Sunday evening. Met the new management, Hung, who just took over the business 8 days ago. He was young and very friendly. He said he just put in new tiled floors and redecorated. This was my second time there ever since probably about 3 – 4 years ago so I don’t really remember the previous décor. My first time there years ago, I had a milk tea and was not very impressed. I judge tapioca/boba/bubble tea places based on their milk tea. Figured I would give it a second try since I was picking up takeout at Wild Cajun next door. Ordered 6 drinks(buy 5 get 1 free): Thai tea x 2(4⁄5), taro coconut smoothie(3.5÷5), green apple slush(3.5÷5), [jasmine] milk tea(3.5÷5), and coffee milk tea(3⁄5). The Thai Tea was my favorite out of all the drinks I ordered. I did not try the taro coconut smoothie because it was for someone else but they said it wasn’t bad. The green apple slush wasn’t bad either. It was a tad bit too sweet. The milk tea and coffee milk tea was my least favorite, only because it was Jasmine milk tea and not a Black milk tea that I was expecting. I did not realize that default their milk tea was jasmine milk tea. if I wanted to order jasmine milk tea specifically, I suppose I would have given it a 4⁄5 rating. The coffee milk tea has a good strong coffee flavor then you get the jasmine after taste. Very strange. Again, was expecting a Black milk tea. The taro coconut and coffee milk tea wasn’t on the menu but Hung was very accommodating. I felt like a valued customer so I will return. I think he will make a great boss and improve this place greatly.

One of the worst milk teas I’ve had. Got the almond milk tea and told her to go easy on the sweetness. My drink was still over the top sweet and so bad that I couldn’t even get myself to drink another sip.

I tried tapioca square for the very first time and it was disgusting. I ordered a milk tea with tapioca, the milk tea was plain and the tapioca balls are too soft.

I recently went to get a drink from here, and I’m not sure if they sold the drink shop to someone else. there’s more workers and they changed the interior. I ordered the cookies and cream and honeydew with tapioca. the c&c one was delish, but not so much the honeydew. it had that artificial taste to it. the boba it self was more chewier than the last time I went to that was good.

I generally don’t leave feedback, but I am pretty annoyed… The drinks were okkk, but I was given 2 wrong drinks out of the 3 I ordered… the girl who rang me up was nice and doing all the work alone. So I waited a bit longer than I should have. The other girl just sat there in front of the register doing nothing. Just in the way completely, on her computer. It is hidden, but easy to find if you follow your directions. I won’t be coming back though…

The People are very nice, the finger foods is pretty good, the milk tea is very good. Its a good place to hang with your friends. For a few it might be hard to find, but just remember that its behind a crawfish place. :)

Tea is not as good as it was when the previous lady still worked. They reorganized the place and it looks a little bit ugly. Will try to go again to see if they improve any bit or not. Hope that they will decorate their store as well.

We were craving tapioca, went to this place because our usual place was closed on a Tuesday, now I wish we didn’t! The tapioca smoothie were runny, ice was so smooth that all the juice flowed without the ice leaving creamy ice left over. Flavor was not strong. Will not go again.

This place was decent, my buddy works there so I get decent service like most others. The bad thing was I had trouble finding this place when I first heard about it. LOL it was like behind Café 101 well used to be, now It’s crawfish 4 you. I don’t buy the drinks here, they were bought for me haha but it’s not bad. It is tapioca and smoothie… What else did you expect? Holy water? Lmao I don’t know about juices. But if I did I’ll go to Jamba Juice instead of ranting on a tapioca shop xD

I came here because I was hungry and had a huge craving for crepes or appetizers but I believe that they no longer sell these anymore. I did get to have a smoothie and it was quick. One of the worker was rude and told me that they don’t accept debit cards when another worker I made friendly with took the card which worked fine. They changed the place now.

Tapioca is always on point. Not too hard nor too soft. Milk tea is great, but sometimes I can taste a different mixture of drink as if the blender was used and not rinsed thoroughly between every drink.

I was looking for a juice bar when I found this place. Tapioca Square does not have any fresh juices. They make smoothies with frozen fruit and/or powder mostly. After asking what goes into several different smoothies, I learned the only fresh fruit they use is watermelon. I ordered a papaya coconut smoothie and a watermelon strawberry smoothie. I was given a total of $ 8 or so and an explanation that for credit card charges under $ 10, they add a 75 cent fee. So I looked for something else to add to my order. I asked for a crêpe and was told that the boss hasn’t made any yet. Hmmm, ok. So I was charged an extra 75 cents. The smoothies were okay, but I probably won’t go back.

Out of all of my handful of experiences going here, only one of them was a bit bad. My favorite would have to be the avocado smoothie with boba. They usually make it pretty good, and I’ve tried their other flavors which were also satisfactory. I find the guy who usually works there to be pretty friendly. I am guessing he is the owner. What I did not like was, one time, I came in and instead of the guy working there, it was that lady. I ordered the honey green tea with boba. She made the drink and all, but got all irritated when I told her it wasn’t mixed well. She stretched out her arms in frustration and took my drink and started to shake it. No apologies for the unmixed drink or anything and she sounded annoyed. I didn’t come there after that experience for a long time until recently. Her attitude changed and the drinks were still good. I’d rather come there with that guy, rather than have that lady make my drinks for me. But other than that, I would recommend anyone to go there if the Asian area in the other side of Bellaire is too far for you. I went there recently and had two people have their orders done before mine. It only took around 10 or so minutes for the guy to make 7 – 8 drinks before he got to mine. Not bad. I honestly don’t want this place to close down since they make good drinks.

I’ve been on a strawberry smoothie craze lately, so I wanted to try somewhere new away from the Bellaire madness. I’ve definitely had better. I thought the tapioca was a little mushy with no real flavor. I didn’t think the prices were cheap as other people said they would be. The menu said $ 3.15 for the smoothies and somehow after two smoothies it came out to be $ 8.44? Hmmm… oh well whatever… Place isn’t that spacious… the couches not very comfortable and I think it’s odd having bar stools right at the counter where people are ordering… I had to reach over the people sitting there just to get my drink. Needs a better layout.

I’m a huge fan of this tapioca joint although there are a few negatives, the positive outweigh the bad. Pros: –Delicious smoothies(highly recommend the strawberry & mango and strawberry & banana) –Very affordable prices for food and drinks –Small snacks offered –Not located in the center of Chinatown(don’t have to deal with Bellaire traffic) –Simple and clean store –Quick service with a friendly staff Cons: –$ 10 card minimum or pay a $.50 service charge(not too bad) –The games unorganized and missing plenty of pieces The store is hidden from the main street of Bellaire, but it’s there — right on the corner of Eldridge and Bellaire.

I would give a five star but every time I come here they never have the wings I want. Well this is the third time and each time it’s at a different time of the day. Then I asked for a nutella crêpe and they dont have those either(this is at 1 pm) why have it on the menu if you never have them? They should really keep their customers updated via facebook or something on their menu or at least post a sign saying they don’t have it. Also, the egg pudding has a saltiness to it and a weird texture. It’s a small place and a lot of the times it’s empty so it’s a good place study. The positive is that they’re milk tea is good and that it’s close to where I live. They also stay open to midnight on weekdays so that a plus.

This place doesn’t really have a good location. It’s off of Bellaire a little bit past Eldridge behind the Just Eat restaurant. You won’t be able to see it just passing by Bellaire, you have to go into the plaza to find it. It’s a shame though, because I think it would have a lot more business if it were much easier to find. D: This place has such good food and drinks at a cheap price! I judge tapioca places based on their milk tea, and I must say TapSquare has one of the best milk teas I’ve ever had. It tastes like actual tea just bursting at you with a hint of cream– not like syrup, cream, and a hint of tea like some other places. It has just the right amount of sweetness and flavor. You also have an option of getting a small or a large size drink. They use the same size cup that you’d see in any other tapioca store, but a small drink is just filled up a little bit more than ¾ of the cup, with the large being filled all the way. Small is $ 2.25, large is $ 2.75. I’d say it’s a pretty good deal for a small drink! They have a great variety of food and drinks here, such as sports slushies, root beer floats, and fruit smoothies. Their lemon pepper wings and popcorn chicken are delicious, especially when paired with their french fries(: I’m not sure if they sell Taiwanese chicken like you’d usually see in other tapioca stores, but I’m perfectly fine with their popcorn chicken! Keep in mind, though, that their popcorn chicken and chicken nuggets are two totally different things. Their chicken nuggets resemble those of McDonald’s. The popcorn chicken is like mini chicken tenders that you’d get from Whataburger or Dairy Queen. Or better yet, they’re like bigger versions of KFC’s popcorn chicken. Oh yeah, and try their nutella+banana crepes too! Suuuuperr yummy! And I think each item on their menu is less than $ 5, if not $ 3. YAY: D It might take a while to get your order out because the place is small and there’s usually only one or two people working there. The lady that works there does orders one at a time, I think. Sometimes it bothers me because she can probably do multiple same orders at the same time, but whatever I’m not gonna trip about that too much. Keep in mind that they only accept credit cards at a minimum purchase of $ 10(yet another Asian place with a credit card minimum –___-) oh, and they have happy hour every Thursday from 6 – 8 I think? buy 3 drinks and get one free. My friends and I will definitely be there for that(:
