12÷3÷1511pm First of all something was«wrong with the machine» so the cashier failed to explain why she automatically typed in my card number and asked for my zip code. I was suspicious but more on that later. It took 30 minutes to make 3 tacos. I finally thought my order came when the cashier with the blond hair looked into the bag mumbled something under her breath and sent it back to the kitchen. I inquired about it, she said no that it wasn’t mine. The same bag came back and was handed to me. The waitress confirmed«3 chicken tacos?» I took it home and discovered why it was sent back. 2 roughly chopped chicken breast tacos, and a fajita quesadilla. The chicken had a strange taste, and the fajita meat was tough. I threw everything away. Who needs to eat after a gym visit, right?! Things got better when I recalled the artificial blond entering in all of my card info before even attempting to swipe. Long story short it’s the holidays, scammers are everywhere, why take a chance. I had a hold put on my account and the card deactivated. Better to be safe than sorry. I returned to the restaurant. The same artificial blond hispanic girl with blue contacts and lots of makeup was busy typing in someone else’s card info. I stood to the side and she acknowledged me with an eyeroll. I asked the waitress to her right for a manager when the artificial blond began speaking at me. I expressed my suspicions and she began talking over me. She told me that typing the info is normal and I am the first person to EVER ask why she had to do it. I told her that I understood and that for future reference she should explain the process especially because its the holidays and customers will feel safer about the situation. Mid sentence she rolls her eyes and turns her back, gave me a «yeah, OK». Customer service is EVERYTHING. The blonde clown chick tried it! The food was awful, service was too. I won’t send anyone there, and I won’t return.

I come here frequently and am never not satisfied. I love their food because it’s tasty, fast & above all not greasy! The staff knows English to the point where English speakers don’t have to reiterate over & over again. The food is great I always order the enchiladas & flauntas! Their margaritas are very good as well, I would definitely recommend

SPITWADINMYFOOD Horrible. I went here for the 2nd time by myself the first time was not any different. first off the waitress sees me walk in and I didn’t know where to sit so I just sat at a booth while, she was sitting down talking with whoever the hell, she gives me a menu with chips and salsa then walks away, she comes back and takes my order, It was not something people usually order so I wasnt expecting perfection I asked for carne asada fries,(fries, guacamole, carne asada, and cheese,) it came out everything was cold except the meat but I guess the chef got pissed off and added a special ingredient THEREWAS A SPITWADINMYFOODWTF… almost forgot to mention there was a roach crawling near the booth I tell the waitress she steps on it and just leaves it there. I can tolerate shitty hole in the whole in the wall places but the food better be on point.

One star for being 24 hours, second star because I was craving Mexican food. Service was terrible, food was cold & lacking. Restrooms are filthy with really cheap toilet paper. When we first sat down the waitress bought out a basket of tortilla chips and two bottles filled with sauce, the tortilla chips were lacking and they were even stale. I ordered Milanesa Empanizada and my boyfriend ordered the Bistek A La Mexicana, I always sample his food and his meat was warm on the outside but in the middle was cold & hard. My meat was lacking flavor, the rice was stale and the refried bean was mushy, the corn tortilla was hard and tasted terrible. After the waitress bought out our food she never checked back with us nor refilled our water. We basically wasted our money here for food that we didn’t even finish or satisfied my cravings. Save your money and go to a food truck instead.

Pretty good tacos to go! I was a fan of the fajita tacos, rice and beans! Didn’t like the carne guisada since it had potatoes in it but overall decent taquitos 24⁄7. Loved their green sauce and chips! Boyfriend liked his nachos and fresh limonada :)

Horrible costumer service. They get the orders wrong everytime. Foods good but service makes you never want to go back.

Discovered this taqueria by accident one late night while out and about. Love that it’s so close to my «hood.» The food is good and the location is off the beaten path. Open late and they serve beer and wine until 2am. Authentic taqueria food and the prices are reasonably inexpensive for most items. This is a casual kind of place and not one to take a date, FYI.

Food was okay. The tortas was lacking the the meat department. My Pozole meat was undercooked and I am pregnant. Undercooked pork could endanger my child and I. Not cool! The service was non existent. My family went out to eat and my mother who is a very calm woman got testy with the waitress because we had to wait 30 minutes for a check. The salsa verde at this location is amazing and their tres leche cake is actually decent. I like that they are 24 hours and is a nice place for lengua tacos at 2AM.

I am a fan. The food here is awesome. I’ve never had a bad meal there, ever. But for me the best part of Brenda’s is that they treat everyone exceptionally well. The staff is very friendly and greet you in the same manner they’d greet their friends of family. They really make you feel like they are glad to see you.

this is my go to taqueria when i’m near Chinatown, lunch and breakfast. By the way, not sure why Ritch H. gave only 2 stars when he seemed like he liked the place???

Clean, inexpensive and cheap. I will say very pleasant and friendly staff. This is a good place if you want simple street tacos and nothing more. Salsa and chips are very good.

This is my regular hangout for breakfast. I love that they serve me their bfast menu at all hours of the day because I’m definitely not a morning person. Their bfast tacos are always full to the brim(my fave are potato & egg, and ham & egg — with cheese of course).I prefer the corn tortillas though the flour ones are just as fresh. If I eat three, I’m bustin’ at the seams. Can’t beat the price and the staff is always super friendly and attentive. The rest of the menu is pretty good too, but I tend to stick to breakfast most times I come… which is at least once per week.

Don’t get thrown off by the terrible staff… The food makes up for it. The chicken & fajita tacos were amazing. Juicy! I love it. The waitresses in there however are a mess & are somewhat rude. They weren’t attentive & were watching TV the whole time. I had to get up and ask where may I place my order. This isn’t my favorite dine in place but great for to-go orders.

I’m so sad my little taqueria on the corner has become such a crappy little place. It never seemed spotless. But this trip it seemed extremely dirty. We could see food on the floor and it didn’t have that«food is cooking, come eat» smell. My dining companion’s flautas were burned to a crisp. When she told the waitress that, she agreed immediately and they made another. It was as though she knew when she brought them that the food was wrong but served it to her anyway. The second plate was as over cooked and inedible. My carne guisada — which was at one time tasty for a little taqueria — was runny and the carrots were nearly raw and I couldn’t eat them. The corn tortillas, which are usually fresh and hot, seemed prepackaged and left over from a few days ago. Both of us agreed the rice tasted old and the refried beans stale and cold. I used to enjoy popping in for a quick and inexpensive bite or a carry home taco dinner on the way home from work. But with two other local taquerias on the same corner I’ll take my Mexican food needs elsewhere.

The only thing I like about this place is the fajita quesadilla, large please. Service: subpar. You sit where you want, they bring you chips without a word, ask for your drink order, and when they come back, ask what you want for food. After your food comes out, you’ll probably never see them again. I’m always polite, so I try not to bother the people who wait on me, but sometimes I need something and I’d like for them to be around every now and then. At least they’re not rude. They’re more. invisible. I wish I spoke Spanish :( Food: My boyfriend showed me this place a while back and I absolutely fell in love with the fajita quesadilla. It’s greasy goodness just overwhelms me. The cheese melts with meat and sits in the tortilla so perfectly, it’s always exciting when I see it. My stomach is growling now. And I’m a big fan of sour cream, so I load it up with scoops of that to top off the amazing flavor. The first bite is so savory. I’ve also gotten some tacos before, just to try something new. Not as good, but definitely better than Taco Bell. And I’ve tried the torta there, as well. Also not as good as the quesadilla, but not bad either. The bread is soft, but not mushy, and the avocado adds great flavor. The location is really convenient, but the area isn’t my favorite. I wouldn’t go there alone to pick up an order, at least not at night. Sometimes cops sit in the parking lot of the Valero right next to it, and that makes me feel safe. But there’s a club across the street so if you go late, you might run into a few drunkies. Overall: it’s an OK place.

No, no, no and no. If you enjoy your al pastor or al carbon burnt to a crisp and served as charcoal, served on a dry tortilla, you have come to the right place my friends. I was excited to try their salsa and chips, as I heard its the best. Again, not to my liking either. Not enough spice and the green sauce tasted a bit pasty to me. If you were expecting salsa based off a tomato, you’d also be wrong. It’s nicely decorated inside and it was comfortable and clean. Outside is a bit trashy given that its on a corner next to a horrific gas station and convenience store. I doubt I’ll eat here again given the quality of the food. Seriously, if you can’t make a taco right, then there’s something very, very wrong. Edit: Someone asked if I was going to host a UYE here. I’ll add my 5th no to that! No! errr, make that 6!
