This place has been our go-to for a quick and delicious dinner when we’re not in the mood to cook at home because it’s nearby and is open late. The salsa is FRESH and delicious(good chips and salsa is a must for me and this place passes with flying colors!) and so is their lemonade! Also, their green salsa they bring in a little dispenser is THEBOMB(spicy, too!) Their barbacoa and al pastor tacos are on POINT. The tacos are a bit pricier compared to other places we’ve been, but they give you a pretty hefty serving. The maiz tortillas look like they are made there. My boyfriend ordered the tripa tacos and the lengua and he loved them. The ambiance is very casual; it’s not a place to plan a fancy date, but definitely a solid restaurant to get some excellent grub!

This restaurant lacks a lot. The problem here is the language barrier and not having anybody know how to read or speak English. That is an issue for living in America. I mean, there are plenty of resources here in Houston to learn English and some are free. The reason why I knocked off 3 stars was because when it was time to pay for our order. The lady in the front was beyond rude; she rang up every person who was Spanish, instead of my American bf and I. We were second in line and everyone behind us got to leave ahead of us. I guess that’s the way you are treated in Mexico, but in America we like to be treated equal and fair. We like to things to be in order. The littlest things were charged on our bill even the«complimentary» chips and salsa. That’s ridiculous!!! The chicken mole was gross. It was covered in cheese, it masked the actual taste of the chicken. Although, the Spanish rice was good and the beans tasted good too. I definitely won’t be back.

I’ve only been here twice. I’ll give the breakfast tacos 5 stars because they are big, add anything you want and they are not greasy.(I had mine with chorizo and potatoes) Why do I only give it 3 stars? Because the dinner wasn’t as good. Both times I ordered to go, the tacos were still hot when I got home(5 minutes away) but dinner got home cold. Ok, it wasn’t cold per say, but you can tell the food wasn’t fresh. The Chile Relleno had a somewhat sweet tomato sauce on top. I guess it was supposed to be salsa, but it was far from spicy. The enchiladas tortillas weren’t even warmed up. They were basically raw. Not a bad place for breakfast tacos, but will go elsewhere for dinner.

Hanging out with my cousin and his family. We quickly got seated and the was taken then … … … … The order was never entered. After an hour they started bring out the 9 orders 2 plates at a time with long minutes between trips. In the end two plates never came out. Can you image a bean taco. Never came out. A bowl of menudo never came out. Probably the two easiest orders on the menu. I complained to the manager and she said she was very sorry but the kitchen was busy. I asked for a discount and she just laughed. Very unprofessional. Unfortunately I no longer recommend this place. For good service go elsewhere.

Nice place to eat good home made corn and flour tortillas as well as good food with decent prices.

The food is okay, but whoever is cooking needs to calm down with the salt! The last time I ate here, my fajita tacos were very salty. The food is good, but nothing special. I guess the ONLY good thing about this place is that the tortillas are hand made, but other than that, nothing authentic about it. This place is your typical, Tex-Mex restaurant.

I’ve passed this establishment many times while in the area, so I decided to stop in for dinner. The only thing I can say about this place is OMG! The chips are made fresh and served hot. The salsa has a wonderful flavor and the green sauce is HOT! Make sure you have plenty of water to drink! The enchiladas are flavorful. Friendly waitresses, wonderful atmosphere, & great prices! I will definitely be back!

Pure goodness! It is exactly as all of their other locations. Freshly made tortillas are awesome.
