I only come here for the pupusas and they are to die for!!! The staff is ok. Not super nice but not rude either. The place is a small little restaurant with dj karaōke on Friday and Saturday I believe. The only thing I can’t stand are the decorations! They have decorations from all holidays and they never take them down. It’s a mixture of Christmas lights, Valentine’s hearts, a palm tree, and random things hanging from the ceiling. Overall the place is ok but like I said I only come here for the pupusas.

Extremely bad customer service the vegetables in my $ 10 soup had dark spots that I had to scrape off. The only 2 waitresses that were there were extremely rude.

I’m Salvadoran and I will not be coming back here. Los pasteles de perro or beef empanadas were wayyyy to salty. This doesn’t come close to Salvadoran food.

you could eat and get full for less than $ 5(potentially, depending on how much of a glutton you are). the pupusas are only $ 1.99 each, and are friggin amazing! i got la revuelta, which is queso and chicharron(cheese and pork, this one is their most popular) and one with queso and loroco, which is a salvadorian flower(it’s kinda bitter). the only sauces they offer are a light tomato sauce(it tastes like watered down tomato juice) and a salsa picante that tastes like a light mole sauce. they also offer curtido to eat with your pupusas, which is pickled cabbage. when they brought out my order, the waitress came back a minute later with another pupusa, and told me that they messed up my order. she had given me 2 revueltas, and needed to trade me one so that i could have the one with loroco like i ordered. i thought this was weird, because what is she going to do with the one that i touched with my fork already? usually restaurants let you keep it if they already brought it out to your table and you touched it, but apparently she wanted it back… i don’t know if they have karaōke every night, but we went on a friday, and there was a dj and karaōke set up. i can now check mexican/salvadorian karaōke off my list. the dj was nice enough, and encouraged people to get up and sing a song. the song lists are spanish songs only, but if you want to request an english song, he can try and download it for you. you can tell this guy loves his job, because he was up there mic hoggin it all night. he was a pretty decent singer, so at least it wasn’t bad to listen to, and was entertaining. they accept cash only, so come prepared, but not with too much cash cuz it’s not the best neighborhood. when we left there was almost a police shootout in the middle of the street right in front of my car: T

Great El Salvadorian food, lots of locals visit this place. Tamalies are delicious and reasonably priced. A hole-in-the-wall restaurant with wonderful food!
