WOW! Is all I have to say. My husband and I decided to get a quick bite to eat, as soon as we walked we were greeted by a hostess that turned into our server. She was very nice and immediately sold us on the chile con queso, as they brought us the chips and salas in a squeeze bottle which was kinda odd and just image how often does it get replaced or given to another table once we leave. Once we got the cheese and took our first bites, we both looked at each other with that disgusted look in our face, it tasted like old chip and oily and reheated cheese. For our Main dish I had the taco salad and he had 5 beef fajita tacos and a side of fries which looked really appetizing, chicken was really hard and you can tell it was deep fried which should of been grilled chicken breast according to the menu as for the taco he really enjoyed and had nothing but great things to say as for the fries they tasted like shrimp and old oil. Our server came and checked on us, we explained about the queso and immediately gave us a look and brought over the check and placed it on the table and walked away. We tip 20% since it really wasn’t her fault that a few items weren’t up to par over all We will not be visiting this current location.

My coworkers and I eat here every morning for breakfast. Delicious green sauce and outstanding breakfast tacos.

Where’s Gordon Ramsey when you need him. We walk in and the place is emptier then a nickleback concert. That should of been our sign to run for the door. Well we didn’t. We get our chips and salsa. And the chips are stale. Salsa was ok. My girl ordered the nachos and they I’m not kidding you. They took taco shells and put the toppings on them. She wanted nachos, not half ass nachos. My Quesadilla looked sloppy on the inside like a hotpocket. But it was ok. But yeah we’re never coming back. It’s Ostioneria michoacan from now on.

There’s only one word I can say about this place… Awful. If I can put no star I would.

Don’t come here I told them an order and they didn’t do it right they took forever and never brought me my water which I wanted with my michelada! Too expensive for the michelada which was 6 bucks! Nope I came here before but no more plus the beans were all juice and like 5 beans what the heck! The area is ghetto as hell!!! I asked for a water and my friend did too and apparently they wanted us to share because they brought one cup! Maybe there is a language barrier! Not coming back though

All the Arandas I’ve been to over town have been great with this one as the exception. I’ve been here twice. The first time I ordered the daily special and thought I was getting chicken fajitas but ended up getting a slab of thin overcooked chicken. I thought the waitress had heard me wrong and I was willing to let it slide. Even though my co-workers swore I said chicken fajitas! The second time I came with my coworkers again because Main-Ly sandwiches was closed due to mechanical issues next door. The food came out quick but again my chicken was overcooked. Then when I go to pay, they charge me an extra .50 queso dip which I did not specifically order but was on my plate when my meal arrived. I asked her why they charged me for it and she said it came with the meal. Since when do you get charged extra for something that comes with your meal? It was the entire principle of the matter that got me angry. I am done giving my business to this specific Arandas location. I will stick to my favorite branches on Shepherd and Gessner that do the food right and who don’t mess up your order and charge extra!

The inside is decent waitress was friendly. I ordered 2 corn fajita tacos. The meat in the taco was pretty bland and the meat didn’t really taste like fajita meat. This was my first time here and definitely my last. I have been to taco trucks way better. They should really consider making some changes in that recipe. I was disappointed since I was hungry this morning.

I am a tex-Méx foodie — this place sucks. The stench of dirty mop makes it hard to actually eat. The salsas are extremely watered down and the food is cold. There was a time when Arandas restaurant were so good. Quality Tex-Mex and now it seems they have all gone down the drain. This was my last try. What a waste of time and money.

Went here as an alternative to grabbing a fast food breakfast. In hindsight I should have just grabbed a bagel from Starbucks. The only positive is reasonable price of an entrée. Expect to pay under 5 a plate. However the poor food quality coupled with below average service makes going to this restaurant a one-time endeavor.

Getting your tire changed at Discount Tire a few doors down and you know you are going to wait a minimum of 1 hour? Bienvenido a Taquerias Arandas. Parking lot is in a busy strip center but not over packed like some places. Interior is pretty clean and kept. Service is decent. They speak Spanish here *gasp* Prices aren’t as cheap as they were a decade ago and I don’t mean after taking off for inflation. It will get pretty loud in here because of the hard flooring(aren’t most Mexican restaurants geared that way?) so don’t expect to hold a meeting here, bring your loud screaming misbehaved kids here for added ambiance.

Taquerias Arandas has many locations in and around the Houston area. Some of their locations can be questionable at times in food quality and service but this location seems to be great consistently. Their micheladas are great and I usually just stick to the«5 Taquitos» which is not like the crunchy fried taquitos you find at a Pappasitos down the street but are much more similar to street style tacos. Street style tacos are usually made from small corn tortillas filled with double cooked beef or chicken, with a bit of cilantro grilled onion and lime, very delicious.
