Myself and my husband visited Target Optical on Main St this afternoon at around 12:30 p.m. Out of the 3 employees, two(both tall) were not occupied with any customer. Out of those two, one(male) was sitting and the other one(female) was standing behind the counter. We walked in and I tried to make eye contact with them, looked around for a sign in sheet or something. We were totally ignored. After seeing no response, I walked to the counter and asked the female associate whether I needed to sign in because I wanted to make prescription eye glasses. She said no and asked us to sit at the table and began going over our insurance and benefits. While doing so a white couple walked in and the female associate who was engaged with us in explaining our benefits turned to them and said hello. When we entered Target Optical, the two associates who were not occupied with any customer did not even take heed of us(of course we are colored Asians) and while being busy with us the female associate was able to notice and say hello to the white couple the very moment they stepped in. Wow!!! Thank you Target Optical, we are taking our business someplace else where we are welcomed.

It seems like I have spent an inordinate amount of time here lately. Whether I am visiting Dr Nguyen or figuring out what pair of glasses I want, I’ve spent many lunch hours here. And, thankfully that isn’t a bad thing. The staff is so nice and funny and Dr Nguyen himself is very thorough and knowledgeable. I think the glasses selection is great. I had no problem finding a pair that I liked. I had more of an issue trying to narrow my selection down to just one. The prices aren’t too high either and they always have some sort of special going on too. I would highly recommend Dr Nguyen and the staff at this Target Optical.
