The Abbey At Memorial

Viewed these apartments recently due to their proximity to Energy Corridor and zoning to Stratford High School. Very nice interiors with hardwood floors and granite countertops. Grounds were well maintained and landscaped. Nice park nearby and good value for this area of Houston.

Worst apartments, management is very rude and irresponsible. In my apartment one find day the kitchen roof fell off thank god my wife and my 8 month old baby was not there and right after we went to complain and they act like they don’t give a crap, after that when my wife try to use shower the shower unit came off and hit my wife in the eye, when we complain they do not react to it… We are dying to move out of here.

Just moved in to the Abbey on Memorial. The property is newly renovated and it’s lovely! The office staff have done a wonderful job at helping us get situated and settled in. Our first night was a Friday, we discovered a small leak under the kitchen sink. We called the office after hours and within 10 minutes a maintenance guy was at our door to come and tighten up the new garbage disposal. A super quick fix. Service with a smile. He even helped us install our washer and drier which was not an emergency, but handled it anyway. I love the way the entire staff has made my family feel right at home. The property is very clean and kept up beautifully. An added bonus it’s a small an quiet little community. So happy to call the Abbey our new home!

I was stringed along on my approval for a lease. I was told that everything «looked» good on my application & there should be no problem. I informed leasing agent I needed everything final by a certain date. I was told, «sure no problem and that she did not foresee any problem with my move in date». I would get a response by a certain time. Instead each day I was told to call a person back then the person was off the day she told me to call back. I had to keep calling them. Then on the date I had scheduled to move in — the day she told me to call her first thing in the morning, I was told she was off. The office manager kept telling me to call her back she was waiting on a response from her regional manager. That merry go round went on for awhile. When I called there leasing office they picked up and put me on speaker phone and someone yelled my name and said she is calling again. The manager Theresa told me to call back. They were very unprofessional, I should have never been told that I would be approved. I had paid for movers, they waisted my time and money.
Disappointed

Moved here a few months ago and Love It! Property totally renovated and rental rate is reasonable for memorial/​energy corridor area. They also had a great move-​in special if you signed 18 month lease.

Poor response from management… dissatisfied.
