Not impressed* Touché to Arjun’s review! I ordered the chicken fried chicken a LA cart with a side of grits bc I initially wanted breakfast but also try the raved cfc as well so that’s what I got. very disappointed for $ 8. The chicken was so bland not even salt and I’m all for saving lives one day at a time promoting less sugar diabetes and hypertension but Ughk I should have took a picture of the remnence that was picked over* I could have gotten the CFC half order w/2 sides for 9.99 but I wasn’t interested with a bread of choice too* Did I mention it was undercooked. Chef Ramsey would have had a cow* The total for Our meal was $ 26. why IDK maybe bc the beau ordered grits and eggs w/toast 7.25? Again large portions but highly overrated. Kudos for serving real grits and not instant here in the South where it’s common these days but umm there’s no special ingredient or sauce that I can mention unfortunately Last We ordered 2 slices of French toast which doesn’t even compare to mine to say the least. Definitely Texas sized French toast but the taste was nothing without syrup and as a French toast connoisseur one must be able to enjoy the experience even without applying syrup* Vanilla, cinnamon, butter, it was all missing which may be why most photos have fruit on top! So will I be returning absolutely not especially since the help wanted to rush through patrons due to the overwhelming lunch hour* Waffle House offers better quality with most of the same options for half the cost if You’re going for breakfast anyway. Sn: mimosas available $ 12 carfal

After reading some of the high reviews we decided to try this place on a whim for lunch. I ordered the grilled cheese and battered fries. BLAH I would’ve rather not have eaten at all. Two pieces of regular boring bread(like from a loaf of store bread) and one piece of cheese that I could’ve at best call a Kraft Single. I eat a ton of grilled cheeses out and about and this was by far the worst, it should’ve cost about 50 cents and I still would’ve been disappointed. My hubby had the spinach and chicken enchiladas with sides and he said it was ok, but lacking any flavor. We won’t be back.

Kudos to this place for having a very loyal clientele. But, the value for the food and service leaves much to be desired. I ordered a Greek Salad — it had two olives on it and barely any feta. I went up and told(what looked like to be the owner) and he acted as if he was doing me a favor by ‘fixing it.’ An $ 8 salad shouldn’t look like it costs $ 0.55 to make. Not planning to go back.

We have eaten here a total of 3 times and do not have any major complaints. The food is pretty good and is reasonable pricing. They tend to get pretty full around noon. It isn’t too difficult to find seating. They have great food specials. This is definitely on our top brunch style foods list. My tip to the cashiers is to make themselves more approachable for questions. I understand it’s busy but customer service is still important.

Good place to meet up with people, especially if you need a place where you can pay separately/at the counter. And I love that they serve breakfast all day and their cinnamon coffee is fantastic. I don’t think the food is out-of-this-world, but it’s good — to me, the draw is more the all-day breakfast and that it is a great place to meet up with people who need to pay separately.

Delicious! Full disclosure, this is my first time here, im only visiting Houston, and as I walked in and paused to get the lay of the land, two lovely women at the door said that breakfast is free this morning. So, I paid no attention to prices. I ordered one egg, side of sausage and short stack of blueberry pancakes. The cashier asked, Are you sure you don’t want potatoes? so I got those too. Out came an intimidating amount of food. I put half of it into a to-go container immediately. There were at least three eggs there and it was a bit overwhelming. The sausage isn’t a tiny breakfast link, it’s huge. Everything tasted absolutely stellar. I had the cinnamon brewed coffee, which was tasty and strong. The hash browns were crispy and creamy and normally I don’t care for hash browns and never order them, but scarfed these down. The blueberry pancakes and scrambled eggs were perfection. The staff were all friendly and kept up the pace of clearing tables, getting orders, etc. The food came out fast. They won my heart when I saw salsa at the condiment bar!(Also delicious!) Based on food and staff, 5 stars. I’m only taking a star away because of the noise level. A busy breakfast place is gonna be loud, but layered on top is a loudspeaker announcing food pickup. This is not a place to chill and just enjoy your friends and food. My only suggestion would be to use buzzers or something, because the constant announcements was super off-putting. But I will definitely be back. Delicious!

The line is always out the door, but food is worth the wait. Their pancakes are really fantastic — our favorite is blueberry. But they are the size of a dinner plate, so come with a huge appetite. Their omelettes are stellar, too. They come with 3 eggs and whatever additions your heart desires. We typically construct a tomato, spinach, mushroom and feta variety and complement it with a biscuit and side of tasty hashbrowns! Excellent homemade breakfast food and a local Houston staple.

The line goes out the door for a reason; Buffalo Grille is worth the wait one hundred times over! The regular menu is pretty stacked, but look at the daily specials to get the full BG experience. From $ 8 for an omlette/short stack to the most massive(and delicious) pork chop breakfast. Bring your best appetite, and leave with a box. I don’t like coffee but their toasted cinnamon roast is awesome. Orange juice is fresh squeezed and very tasty. The cookies are a great buy as they make a super nice snack for later in the day.

This place is a neighborhood staple but I honestly didn’t find it to be anything special. Despite the long line and crowded interior my food was just average. I ordered two scrambled eggs mixed with pico, grits, wheat toast, and a turkey sausage patty. In my opinion the food simply lacked seasoning. The eggs were cooked well enough but if there was no pico added they would’ve been very blah. The grits had a nice, creamy consistency but they didn’t add any butter to them. Therefore I had to add loads of butter and salt and pepper to make them taste well enough to eat. The turkey sausage patty was kind of dry. It was nothing memorable. Overall I found this average breakfast to be slightly overpriced. $ 11.45 it was not a bargain. Bottom line, I think you can get better elsewhere.

Came on a Sunday for brunch and there was a pretty long line. There were many signs saying to place your order first then grab a table so be sure to do that if you’re a first time goer. The meal portions are quite big so order with caution. We ordered half the order of chicken fried steak, build your own omelette with a side of hash brown(a must) with rolls and one regular pancake. Also a jumbo orange juice haha. The food came out really fast. They call your name by the counter for you to pick up your order. Everything were pretty decent and like I said the portion size is big. We came on empty stomachs so we were able to finish most of the order. We both agreed that the hash brown was the best. Price wise it was decent if you consider the portion size. Much better than breakfast klub where it’s pricy and portion isn’t so full filling.

The grits are bland, even with the cheese. But I’ll take the rest home and doctor them up. Eggs were decent but a little too runny. Biscuits and gravy were actually offensive in size. Don’t get me wrong, they were very good but way too much food. Not even sure you can take the rest home because won’t the gravy then make the biscuits soggy? They literally give you four huge biscuits that several could eat from. They aren’t dry and very fluffy. The cinnamon coffee was overload of cinnamon. Location is convenient but not really sure I’ll be back unless I’m with friends who want to share.

Visited here and had breakfast. The fruit is delicious and fresh! The bacon is great, maybe a little too much pepper but good. I’m not much of an egg lover but the eggs here are great. I got them over medium. And finally… The pancakes! They’re delicious. They even added chocolate chips for me :) oh and the staff is friendly! They are a bit pricey but overall it’s worth enjoying this place every once in a while.

People tend to complain about the long lines here, but personally I was very happy about the long line because the menu was so extensive that I still didn’t know what I wanted even when we got to the counter! Love that you can come here for breakfast or lunch food at any time, but that definitely also makes decision making more tricky. I finally decided on the 2 eggs + cream cheese and chives platter with hash browns and biscuits. All the indecision was worth it when I finally saw the huge plate full of eggs and not one but two biscuits. Everything was delicious and I have no complaints at all. While it may not be the fanciest brunch ever, it has a very authentic, homey taste that can’t be beat. The biscuits are kind of unique, and paired with some honey you’ve got yourself the best carbs you will eat all day. My platter cost $ 9, a pretty good deal considering how much food I got. Can’t wait to go back — I’m already craving those eggs & biscuits!

I’m not trying to be critical, but I have to admit I am surprised this place has such a long wait! It’s not especially good, cheap, or fast. Basically, you order at the counter, give your name, and find a table. Then, you wait until your name is called. The overall ambiance is thrown together: wooden tables with leftover brunch, babies screaming, and lots of people walking to get their order. It’s definitely not a place to linger or talk casually with a friend. I had the huevos rancheros, which was completely disappointing. So little food, and my beans and eggs were completely overcooked. I actually had made my own huevos the day before, and it tasted better(that’s a low bar, trust). The cinnamon coffee smelled delicious but I preferred the regular coffee. My friend got the biscuits, which were ginormous but in her words, «meh». Overall, my meal cost about $ 14 and wasn’t super filling, so I can’t even recommend it on price. I don’t think I will be coming back.

They are slipping. I’ve never had a complaint about the meatloaf in many visits but today I got a very small portion of the end of the loaf. And it was cold. And the black eyed peas were half cooked and crunchy. Now my stomach is hurting.

So I finally got a chance to try this place. The few times we did try to come here the place was just entirely too busy, which was definitely a good sign. This particular day was a week day around 11:00am; so it was before the lunch crowd and after the breakfast. The food was great. We ordered too much, but we were able to take it home for dinner. You order at the line and your name is called to come pick up your food. The place isn’t really large but seating isn’t that bad, and I also noticed they had an outdoor seating area as well. The staff was friendly, but not the most helpful when it came to the menu, like for example the lady could have told me that I should have orders the half order of chicken fried steak, but it was cool. I will definitely return and try some of the other things on the menu.

Food was decent, if you order just eggs and hashbrown, good deal for college students. Once you start adding meat prices move up accordingly. We ordered eggs, sausage hashbrown, small order of pancakes and coffee and hot chocolate. He was given a cup and I was given a cup with sealed package of hot chocolate for me to prepare. I was surprised, that it was self serve. Friends met us there and one them noticed how small mimosa pitcher was and ordered another one. We stopped in right after holiday and waited in line 15 minutes. There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating. You are not allowed to save seats before you purchase your meal. To avoid lines get there early and go after 11 am for breakfast.

I usually come to Buffalo Grille with the family for breakfast. You have to get here really early on weekends because the line gets really long really fast. I usually get pancakes and build your own omelets… they give you very large portions. The prices here are pretty good. There is nothing that really stands out at the buffalo grill
