I love this place, they sell professional makeup and offer pro discounts. I come here with my best friend often and then head over to the Mexican restaurant down the street. I always end up buying loads and the girls are there to help answer any questions if you need any help

I’m not really sure what to say, but this place is awesome! They sell brands like RCMA, L.A. Girl, Ben Nye, Morphe Brushes, etc.(pretty much brands that you won’t be able to find at Ulta or Sephora). Yes, you can buy those items online, but if you’re like me who hates online shopping for makeup, then this place is good for you. They have testers for every item. They were out of stock of a lot of the Morphe Brushes and palettes but I don’t blame them, people probably go crazy over it. I’ll have to come back to get a hold of those one day… Service was great! All the ladies were really nice :)

I’ve been looking for Ben Nye banana powder for like ages but I didn’t want to but it online. I like online shopping but I’d rather be able to see what I buy upfront before purchasing. I know a costume store in Houston that sells it but it’s literally 30 minutes away from where I stay. When I found out that there’s a makeup store that has it that’s 7 minutes away, I was there the very next day. If you’re into YouTube makeup tutorials then all the products that you want and WISH you could get are all mostly here. There was only one person working when I came and one other customer. The other customer required more help than me but she still made sure to check on me from time to time. I got BN powder, LA girl concealer, and a beauty blender. 2⁄3 you can’t just get in stores. Plus that Unilocal check in discount is clutch. I’d definitely recommend this place for makeup artists and lovers. Just don’t buy up all the banana powders ;)

Have you ever encountered an employee/staff member who evidently hates his/her job? This place is filled with them. The one star I’m giving this place is for the one product I buy from them. I come here for my L.A. Girl concealer because I can’t seem to find it anywhere else. I was curious about this place for a long time. I live right across the street so I’ve driven by it a million times. The thing that first caught my attention about this place was the ceramic cow they used to have in front of their shop. It was painted a different color every other week. Marketing tactic? Not sure, but it works as one. I was not greeted upon entering. On second thought, I was not greeted at all. The place is tiny… at least the front half of the shop is, where they sell their products(I think makeup courses are offered in the back). Display of merchandise was messy, disorganized, and a lot of products(especially eyeshadow palettes) were damaged. During my half-hour browse session, not one of the 4 – 5 girls who were working said a word to me. I actually had some questions and needed help for once… I stood in front of a display rack for at least 10 minutes hoping that an employee would notice, approach me and offer assistance. That did not happen. This next part bugs me. As I’m standing in front of this display rack, one of the employees stepped directly in between me and the rack to restock an item and didn’t even seem to acknowledge my existence. Then, upon checking out, the girl behind the cash register didn’t even make eye contact with me during my transaction. Overall, my experience in this store was strange. The vibe was just really off, which made for terrible customer service. I am running low of my concealer and am absolutely dreading my next visit to this store. :(Wish they were more friendly.
