This is my first time coming here after hearing about it for the longest. I’m a huge lover of baked potatoes and ever since Thelma’s(in third ward) closed, Ive been on the prowl. It ducked off in the trey but worth the find. When you walk in, you can smell a beautiful aroma of what will potentially be your meal. It’s a small spot but they work efficiently. The thing that immediately caught my attention what the different selections of potatoes they have. They have a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger one, one with chicken and sausage gumbo, one with chicken and shrimp alfredo, one called nachoville with crushed doritos and ground beef… like everything. You have to take your time to take in the menu. The one I went with was the Trash Can(that comes with 7 different meats because I’m fat). This. Hoe. Is. Beautiful. It only took them about 5 minutes to bring it out too. The potato to meat ratio is appropriate and consistent all the way through the dish. The bottom layer is potato, then its covered with cheeses, then the meats, then another layer of cheese and then topped with bacon and a jalapeño pepper. They give you BBQ sauce and Sour Cream on the side to add to your potato at your discretion. I’m overwhelmed and happy about it. You don’t even want to rush your food because its soo much to eat and take in. I already know I’ll spend all day eating this. Whats also dope is that they have other items you might want to try. They also have sandwiches that you can get on texas toast or jalapeño bread. There’s 3 different types of boudin balls. 3 different types of pork skins. Nachos. Burritos. Tacos. Even a ribeye steak. They also cater as well. Overall, this is a southern delicacy restaurant that will get plenty visits from me. I would suggest this restaurant to anybody who likes to eat big and flavorful meals.

They got my order wrong, I called the manager and he told me to bring the food back so he can correct my order. I explained I lived in Pearland, 10 miles and too much traffic to bother. He was completely unapologetic. Never going back…

This is one big baked potato! I had seen a serving from here and had to try it. I was smart and went with the small azz and it is still really large. I couldn’t help it and got a cherry bomb too. That is a meal in itself. I will be back. A lot.

The food was good. Although I didn’t get a baked potato man those boudain balls were awesome! I did check out the reviews of this place and saw pictures of the boudain balls but I did not realize that they were so big! I only ate half of one and I was stuffed. I will make sure to try a potato on my next visit. The service was quick and efficient. You place your order at one counter and pick up at another. The only thing I wish that the location was bigger. It can get crowded and the line will form outside of the door.

I was really excited for this place! Like, mouth watering, stomach grumbling, planned out in advance that this was were I was gonna go. I got the small Cowabunga. It was just… okay? I’ve definitely had better BBQ baked potatoes. The meat didn’t have much flavor and it was kind of tough. I like the concept so next time I will try a different meat. Service was fast, so that’s a plus.

The place is legit! It’s tucked away between a few other businesses in a strip, but they have clear signage off of MLK. Don’t let the location deter you. Make the trip to Southpark and get one of these potatos. The cheesy boudin balls are HUGE! They come in sets of 2 and you can feed 4 people with one order(as an appetizer). Then there’s the potato. I ordered The Confused potato. It comes with brisket and creole sausage. You need a serious appetite. I let KEEF come out and I still couldn’t finish the whole thing! I got through 2⁄3 and I had to stop. I was so full! The BBQ sauce is tangy. I like it. It tastes homemade. The creole sauce that comes with the boudin balls is good as well. It tastes homemade. The brisket is very tasty. My only critique is that I expected a little more spice/kick from the creole sausage.

Our orders are normally large since I order for the entire staff. I am use to having restaurants get someones order wrong. This place was great in the over the phone order process. The order was actually ready when they said it would be. No mistakes in the order at all. They were fast, friendly, & precise. Great food & great prices. If you haven’t tried this place yet you should!!!

This is the best baked potato I had in a long time. I ordered online and pick up was ready when I got there. It’s a small place but from what I seen they had sitting areas. Only thing I wish I had tried their juice. Looked pretty good but I was too focus on that potato.

The food and portions are crazy good for a reasonable price! I have only gone once in the evening but I did not have a long wait. They lost a star for the parking area and you have to call another number and pay by credit card if you want a to-go order. For a new customer, it seemed sketchy to me so I opted not to. When I arrived, I saw the guy taking to go orders and some coworkers have placed to go orders without issue since my first visit. Go and enjoy!

I had been hearing about the big fuss. and the«super freak» did exceed my expectations.(as far as taste). This particular potatoe… consist of «chicken and shrimp in Alfredo sauce. with shredded cheese and chives». I topped it of with a piece of bacon that was not your normal grocery store bacon. It was«meat market«thickly cut bacon. However. the chicken was plentiful, but unfortunately .the shrimp was not.UNLESS.that was how it was supposed to be. I received one colossal(huge) shrimp on the top of the potatoes. and only 2 small one’s.that were amidst the chicken, cheese, potatoes and Alfredo sauce. The parking was incredibly tight. But. I’m familiar with that area. and it has increased with the many business’. The staff where OK. I will definitely try it again!

I ordered a small azz funky chicken, and there is nothing small about this potato! I ate about half before I had to give up… the bbq chicken was absolutely delicious! Very flavorful and the smell was just out of this world! I took half home, and could smell this bbq chicken the whole time. My boyfriend opened the box and smelled the bbq chicken and ate the rest of the potato cold! U know it’s gotta be good if he eats it cold! Will be back again…

Excellent customer service, quality food used. Parking lot was a little tight but the crowd was not bad at dinner time on a Tuesday. I asked for the most popular potato. The swamp thing was suggested. I got the large and shared with my adult son. We both enjoyed the abundance of meats on the dish and the tasty sauce. I would like to return to try one of the beef dishes.

Went here this past weekend after a friend posted her meal on FB. The location is in my old hood — so I was already familiar with the area. The parking is ridiculous — this place stays packed so I literally MADE a parking space. Once I got in, there wasn’t a line or a lot of people waiting(WTH?) I ordered a Big Azz Confused with beef and chicken — loaded(and yes, that IS the name of the item on the menu) I paid and waited — literally 2 seconds after I sat down to wait a TON of folks walked in, line out the door. Clearly Jesus loves me and wanted me to have this food because I wouldn’t have waited in the line. I got it home and OMG!!! It’s huge, the meats were flavorful, the potato(once you mow thru the huge stack of meat) was cooked perfectly — it was AWESOME. I will definitely go back and I DO recommend you try to go during the week when you can call your order in or pay online to avoid any wait.

It was just good or ‘Ok’. I have heard people go on and on about this place for a while and the reviews finally got me to make the ‘out of the way’ trip to try one of these delectable delights… Unfortunately for me they had run out of most of the meats so I didn’t get the potatoe that I wanted to really try and decided instead to get one of their baked potatoe casseroles so the whole family could have a try. Made with the only 2 meats they had left, chicken and sausage, not a problem cause I love both. I’m not going to say that it was…“nasty” or gross, I think I was just expecting ALOT more FLAVOR. The food looked so rich and saucy that I expected the flavor to be – more bold. I just felt that it was lacking something. They do sell their own brand of a potatoe sprinkle or salt so maybe that’s what was missing. I might suggest that they throw some of that in the bag if I decide to give them another try. Not worth the price in flavor but worth it in portion size. Since my visit here I have since had a chance to try a few better tasting baked potatoes — but they were from some place else. In all fairness, I will say that you should give them a try for yourself because everyone’s taste buds are different.

A Gem! Better than Pappa’s, Goode Company, and Hungry Farmers… Best baked potato I’ve had since Hungry Farmers on 45& Crosstimbers changed their potato game,(and that was years ago)! I Ordered from here on a Wednesday evening because I didn’t feel like cooking, got 2 potatoes. I got the«Confused»(you get 2 meats; I got chopped beef and chicken) and the«Cajun Coon Azz»(it’s w/Cajun sausage) both were immaculate.((Although they did confuse the meats. I got the«confused» with the Chicken and Sausage, and the Cajun coon with beef on it)) Both were still worth the 12 $,(each I paid for them) . The potatos though, are huge! I barely put a dent in the Cajun one & I was stuffed! My advice is to buy the«Confused» and share it.(you get 2 different meats, so why not)! Worth the price!
