Horrible service! I will never be coming back to this location ever. I called ahead of time to make sure they had a specific product and asked them to save one for me at the front desk. I drove 20 minutes to this specific shop, mind you I have many stores close by my house, but when I got there they did not have any. Not happy about this especially since I called and specifically requested the product and they said they had three left.

Lots of options at your fingertips abound here. I needed O7 drops to help fight-off a cold. The first associate was unfamiliar with the product and thought they didn’t carry it. Fortunately, a colleague overheard us talking as he checked the computer. Wouldn’t you know it, they did have it! And, the second guy knew exactly where it was located. After a good laugh and some appropriate jokes, we all learned that teamwork makes a difference. Thanks guys!

This was my third visit and time for a review. The manager is awesome. Friendly and helpful. The chaser Eric is beyond rude. He shouldn’t be doing customer service. Second time I had him and didn’t even want to return today because of the poor customer service I received from him last time. Store is huge and they have good sales and clearance. But a couple bad employees ruins the whole shopping experience here. Won’t def won’t be back.

I have completely given up on GNC, I don’t think their supplements are worth a damn and are very expensive. I drive all the way into town to buy my supplements rather than driving to the nearest GNC(which is across the street from me). Friendly staff, great selection of health related products and central location. They lose one star on account of parking… getting in and out of their parking lot is less than ideal.

While I normally buy most of the supplements I try or regularly use online I ended up having to come here out of necessity(I read something and wanted to see if it made a difference and was going to workout later that day). So the plus is that its pretty large and carries a lot of brands and its been pretty clean the few times I have been there. The only down side is that I heard numerous customers asking the staff questions that they didn’t really have an answer for which is to be expected. They have a lot of quality supplements — you should go with a list and know what it is you want rather than asking for help there.

While being the lazy bum that i am, this year im actually trying to stay active and exercise so that I can live to see the years ahead. A friend/trainer of mine recommended me to go and check out some protein powder for my post workouts.(recovery) which lead me to the The Vitamin Shoppe! :) As soon as i walked in I was greeted by an employee! asked me if i needed any help… (super plus) I walked around for a bit admiring all the selections of vitamins and protein… FInally after mindlessly going down the asile acting as though i actually knew what i was looking for, i kindly asked an employee for help! His name was Beau! He was in the middle of restocking i believe but came down and helped me anyways! Kudos to Beau! He helped me narrow down my choices and gave me some helpful recos! So my take on this place is on the positive side! :) will be coming here again!

As someone else pointed out… the customer service sucks. I’ve never been to a Vitamin Shoppe before, and I went only because I was looking for something very specific. I found what I was looking for(with no help), and went up the counter to check out. The guy up there was helping someone else, which is totally fine — another employee walked up I thought she was coming to help me. Nope. She looked at me, and then turned to have a personal chit chat with other employee and customer. So I turned around and left. Definitely won’t be back.

Horrible customer service. Walked around for 30 mins without anyone helping me. It was like they were avoiding me. Will never go back. Do not go!??

This place is HUGE! It’s the Costco of supplements! I couldn’t believe how big the building was when I drove up. It’s also located on one of the busiest corners in the city, Hilcroft at Westheimer. I went there for one reason only. I needed some empty gel caps for an experiment at school(No, I do not force my students to ingest gel caps). I’ve looked many places for these including on-line. They are usually unavailable or really expensive for what they are. Today I was able to find gel caps in multiple sizes. They came in packs of 100, 500, or 1000. I was able to get 500 of them for only $ 8.99. I also liked that when I walked in, the lady at the register knew exactly where the item I wanted was in the gigantic store.

After(30) years of being skinny, I finally decided that this winter, I’m going to bulk up. I’m going to change my diet, lift weights, and change my appearance so that by summer, I can pull more girls than Tyson Beckford. Hmm. Maybe not. But, I did decide I needed weight gainer shakes to enhance my workout. That’s what lead me to The Vitamin Shoppe on Westheimer and Hillcroft/Voss. They have a HUGE selection of vitamins, supplements, and healthy alternative medicines for extremely cheap prices. I am a huge fan of acai berry products, and they have a great selection of those as well. The pricing is well below GNC in my opinion, and the store is about 3 times the size. Overall, if you’re into healthy living, or a GNC buyer, consider swinging by, you’ll be surprised.
