Not happy with the conditions/safety of this facility. My son had a volleyball tournament here and many of the boys, coaches and parents suffered eye irritation, abrasions and swelling from something in the air on our court. The walls near our court were ripped and had exposed insulation. The owner of the gym kept saying the eye problems were caused by a broken light, but none of the patrons were buying that excuse. Broken ceiling lights don’t cause eye abrasions. Many of us had to go to the doctors/urgent care to remedy the situation. After paying for doctor visits and prescription eye drops, our kids seem to be getting better. My doctor suspects that we were exposed to a lot of fiberglass and dust particles inside the facility. The owner made a lame attempt to put a strip of duct tape on the torn walls, but that was useless. The worst part was trying to comfort young boys in the middle of the night who were crying in pain because their eyes were swollen shut. Still no acknowledgment or apology from the owner, and so I will not be going to this facility again. If you’re going to own a sports facility for children, maintain it. I wanted to give zero stars, but Unilocal requires at least one for ratings. What a nightmare.

I wasn’t impressed by this place at all. I attended a HMB event today and The Zone was hosting it’s facility. The guy who was on staff representing The Zone was NOT welcoming or personable at all. He was sitting at the computer at the front with flyers at the counter. I had to get his attention and ask him about what they offer and still he was not responding in a way that would make a customer want to waste their time and money here! Oh and this facility is just like an open gym! You can find lots of other places like this in Houston!

This place has basketball courts, batting cage, volleyball courts and a place above the courts to do cardio, Pilates and etc. I like this place and the versatility. The only compliant that I have about this place is the courts are very hard with no cushion. Therefore, your knees will be pretty sore after playing. The staff is very nice and might give you some ice to help your recover. Good place to try and rent out for parties, tournaments, and other sporting events.

My grandsons attended The Zone for one week of Summer Camp. I picked them up and no one asked me for my ID to verify I was actually allowed to pick them up. There seemed to be a lack of supervision as my grandsons were watching TV in the entrance area when I walked in. I am not sure what the camp was about but my grandson got hit in the face during a game of dodgeball. The ball was thrown by a «counselor». It sounds more like a play camp than a skills camp. The boys thought it was ok because they got to buy candy. Never again for that camp.
