Been living here for 3 months now and my overall satisfaction on a scale from 1−10… I rate them as a 5! When I set out to move and started looking around found many apartments with in the same price range. What was the most attracting was the fact that they were remodeled«like new», so they advertised! With in the first week my wife and child moved in, had many items that were either redone or done in a hurry. Being realistic and taking the year the complex was built, I was not expecting a «new» apartment. Pros: property manager very tentative to details; so is the remaining of the staff. Got a courtesy call after first work request was submitted to ensure all was well. Very thankful for he call. After that no more calls and have at least 8 work orders submitted… from memory there at least that many. Cons: materials used and craftsmanship to remodel rooms are very low quality. Wooden floor peeling, cracks around sinks(x3) not sealed with caulk, washer power outlet cover not bolted-shorted breaker, glass sliding door not square, and other electrical issues. Had an incident where a low voltage wall power outlet was arcing shooting sparks into the dining area. Called in and had an Emergency work order generated, which a maintenance man was sent to look at 24 hrs later… I had to fix when I got out of work @ midnight. Had wife trip breaker to avoid a tragedy. Toilets backed up… x3. Had 1 replaced with a «used» toilet and the other snaked twice. Can’t not regulate Hot water when taking a shower. Water temperature fluctuates from warm to scalding HOT. Frustrating as hell when taking a shower. Thorntree Apartments claim to have«security guards» at night… I get in around the midnight time frame every day, some on weekends and haven’t seen a single officer out walking the complex. If so I want that job! There are many other irregularities to mention. If I had I to choose again. I would choose else where.
