Timmy Chan’s At Homestead

Food is real good and the home made sauces are good, we will be back.

Sorry but No Stars from me the only reason it has one is because it won’t let me post it unless I give it one none earn star. Earlier today my family and I decided to take a trip to Timmy chan at homestead my family and I been going there for year but early today I was very disappointed despite the roaches I seen there. I was offended by refusing to give me service, a soonest you walk in there is a poster of a kid; some how kids like to take pictures with it and play with it but the owners get mad and I understand in which I tell my kid not to play on it but the lady starts getting all mad and screaming at my kid and I am like confuse, first thing they should do is ask nicely or tell a parent well off course I will jump to defend my child, so she is like «that’s it I refuse to give service». and I am like excuse me? after you scream at my child you still rude to me?. Sorry but I do Not recommend this bad service to no one specially be treated without respect despite the years you been their costumer. If they don’t like no one touching it then remove it, it will prevent from been disrespectful to others…

Even though I have passed this Timmy Chan’s countless times while living in the area for three years, I’ve never ventured to buy anything here because the Specials advertised on the signage outside are not specials to me. Popeye’s is right across the street and usually have better deals, so If I had a hankering for some chicken, I’d go there instead. However, my cousin who had been ill asked me to stop by this place and get him some food. Since he hadn’t had an appetite, I obliged. I googled the business, found their number, and called in the order so I wouldn’t have to wait too long.
My cousin had requested the Shrimp lo mien without the veggies, and 12 wings with fries. Along with a canned drink, I busted a $ 20 and a five for this food. The man waiting for his order even asked me what I ordered to spend that amount of money. I started thinking about it as well and asked for a receipt since I wasn’t given one. They hand wrote it for me what each item cost. If I had known that the extra 2 piece wing was being bought al la carte, my cousin would have only gotten the 10 piece special. Additionally, the shrimp lo mien barely had shrimp to be found in the order as well. Plus side, the meal was hot and so were the fries which I tasted. Superb crunchiness and fried to a golden crisp, but not worth the money. In the hood, this is a probably a luxury to eat at if you have no other place to go but when you have options on where you spend your money, I’d go somewhere else without a second thought.

my quest was to find some greasy chinese food and this was the spot that i came up to it has a small menu and the dinner meals are over portioned which sometimes is good :-), im from new york city and believe me when i say theres nothing like new york chinese food it is the BEST!!! hands down any one that has tried chinese food from new york even the greasiest spot is better but this is the closet that it can get for me, but im not gonna talk down this my spot not for some greasy chinese… love the chicken wings, Crab puffs and extra large koolaid a must have here!!! btw please turn on the lights in the resturant during the day lol

This establishment is ok. They have improved some. You get what you get in the hood. It is ok.
