Can’t go wrong with these breakfast tacos. Whenever I’m in the area I have to stop by and take a few to go. Don’t forget to try the hand made flour tortillas.

This is the best little store in Houston, IMHO. My In-​Laws live only one block away, so I would walk to this store at least every other day for 3 weeks. They have almost everything a neighborhood store should have and more. I wish I could speak Spanish a little better, but my 2 years in college has already left my brain after all these years of not practicing. Most of the employees and customers communicate with each other in Spanish. This is where I would stock up on my favorite hot sauces like El Tapatio and El Yucateco for cheap. Also, they have freshly made tacos that are the best I’ve ever had. Shredded chicken taco, oh how I miss you! My favorite of all is the coconut popsicles or «paletas» that they sell. I was eating at least 3 per day, for 3 weeks! All of this stuff is near impossible to find in Hawaii. They even sell lottery tickets! I love this store!
