Tory Burch

This store’s voice message keeps on coming on at 11:35 AM stating their business opens at 10:00 AM when they should be available to pick up their phone. They failed to turn off the answering message at 10:00 AM. Very poor customer service no wonder the quality of their bags are very cheap and not worth the money. I’d rather shop at Louis Vuitton and get what I pay for.
It’s now 11:40 AM; It took them 40 minutes to turned it off and answer the phone.

I absolutely love this store! Ask for Jeanie or Elizabeth! They take their time with you and make it very personable! I will be back :)

All of the negative reviews are true. The older, flamboyant, white male in the front seems to only have one purpose and that is to judge you as you walk in their store. He asked what I was there for and I said I was there to exchange a gift, he then asked me a series of questions such as «do you have a receipt?» «How long has it been?» And commented good that I had it and that it had not been more than 30 days, then proceeded to judge to next person to walk in. No assistance offered, he just wanted to know I wasn’t going to waste their time kudos for him for being so efficient. Sorry you did not get the satisfaction of turning me away.
Everyone else in the store was blasé and equally unhelpful. Only one girl approached me and was kind enough to provide assistance. after I walked around the store for ten minutes. Afterward I had to flag people down to get me my shoes and again to PAY for the shoe. Since my exchange was a gift, it had a bow on it. Once I got my new item they decided to keep the bow and anything nice that decorated my gift. Tory must be trying to save on bows by reusing them, must cost a lot to pay associates who should get some 101 training with Walmart greeters.

Worst customer service experience ever!!! The sales who greeted us was impatient and not nice at all. Then even worse, when my friend and I paid for our bags, we told the other sales that we were not happy about our experience. All of sudden, she said: do you want tequila or other alcohol… well, what can we say, they were crazy!!!
That night, my friend and I made phone calls to complain about this, but no one cares…
I should read the other reviews before I came in, worst, worst, worst customer service!

Exceptional service Elizabeth was great she helped me immediately as I walked in and offered me a corona while I waited that was awesome. I will be coming back very soon.

So… I came in with my family around 5 on a Sunday.
First impression, bad vibe. As if we didn’t belong in there cause I wore a white tshirt and some comfy jeans. Puhleaseeee. My parents would give me the world if I wanted, so don’t get it twisted .
The gay guy in front… Omg shame on you. You are such an unpleasant experience. From the attitude to the dirty looks, you should be dealt with before I handle you girl.
My mom asked a simple question «what color does it come in» he literally gave an exasperated sigh and said «hold on ill let someone explain the colors to you» this girl walked up and looked confused as did I. She stated «black white yellow.» She was probably wondering why couldn’t you have told them that… Yeah fool why couldn’t you just tell me that.
So screw this tory burch. Def understand the bad reviews.

I’m not the «write a review» type of woman typically, but this store is just ridiculous! I’m sure this is not the way the company is supposed to be represented. The associates will answer the phone RUDELY, place you on hold for 10 minutes and then HANG UP! I called back again, not too upset considering it could have been an accident, AND the same girl answered the phone; I laughed it off playfully stating, «hi! I was placed on hold and then hung up on accidentally» and she said, «yeah can you hold?» AS IF IM BOTHERING HER!!! It’s a Tuesday morning, you can’t be THAT busy! And when I have visited the store, the same attitude clings heavily and it is a turn off. GET IT TOGETHER.

I barely got glanced at as I walked in the store. It’s probably because I was dressed down and there were lots of tourists ready to spend some $$$. I had to flag someone down to ask about a specific size. Oh well. Lesson learned: If I need any thing from TB in the future, go somewhere else!

I went to shop there twice. When entered and left the store, I was only greeted by an Asian associate. Others girls were busy talking. I showed one of the associate the picture of the bag I wanted. She took a look and was like ‘oh you are looking for this one.’ Then got me a wrong one. When checking out, I chose to pay with my credit card. She brought me the receipt and it said debit on it. I was curious and asked why. She seemed impatient and said ’ I don’t know. It just popped up like this.’ I was so shocked with their associates’ ‘whatsoever’ and ‘I don’t know’ attitude.
The same thing happened to my friend also.
I also shopped at the MK, Gucci and Coach stores. They are way better.

I am so confused by the posts on this store. Some of them are against the brand in general, and IMO shouldnt be posted for this specific store. And others that complain that they looked and the sales reps didnt harass them?
There is nothing i cant stand more than walking into a store and getting harassed by employees competing with one another for commission. i would MUCH rather shop on my own and if i need something i will let them know. Maybe that is just a personal preference? Either way i love this store and the employees are great. The new store is gorgeous and more than double the space.

My boyfriend decided to treat me to a Tory Burch bag for my 25^th birthday. We visited the location in the Galleria, and chose two possibilities that would work as a large purse or a laptop bag.
Ariel, our Customer Service Representative, was extremely attentive and patient with us, explaining the differences between the bags. When we mentioned that we wanted to visit a few more stores to see all of our options, she was incredibly kind, encouraging us to come back with any questions.
We visited Michael Kors and Kate Spade, but eventually returned to Tory Burch to purchase the Robinson Striped Tote. We were greeted by a very rude young man who belittled our decision to leave the store in the first place. He was impatient and unkind, and was thoroughly put-​out when we asked for a moment before making our final decision. I’m sorry, but spending that kind of money on a bag requires a few thoughts!
Luckily, Ariel saved the day. She encouraged us to sit down, and treated us to bottled water. She went into the back and came out with a new bag, perfectly wrapped for my birthday.
Ariel is the reason this store is receiving a five-​star review. Thank you so much for making me feel special!

Shopping at the Galleria can be tiring so I was happy to see one of my favorite designer stores where I was ready to sit down and buy some new shoes.
Joe was quick to offer service. I had just purchased a pair at Nordstroms that was hurting my feet and I was looking for a replacement. This boutique had a huge selection and big comfy couches. The shoes they had were not available at Nordies so it was a bonus shopping day.
Joe brought out several pairs for me to try on and I took my time picking out the right pair. Refreshments were offered so that was nice since the Houston weather can leave you parched.
On this visit they had a great special that I took advantage of. If you spend $ 250 you get 25% off your next purchase-​so basically some cute overpriced flip-​flops were free. I only tried one flip flop on in the store so when I got home the other flip flop was not as comfy. Looks like I will have to exchange these. Seems like Tory Burch manufacturing needs some quality control.
So my advice: try on both pairs because these were a bit off. Nonetheless, I had great speedy friendly service and I plan on asking for Joe!

As far as the old smaller location in the Galleria, I think the security guard was a lot more friendly than the Tory Burch Associates! The Associates clearly see me browsing and they do not care to greet. I literally have to walk up to them with the item in my hand and have them check on availability. It’s almost as if they personally pick their favorites and offer their assistance. (But this store is obviously not the only store that have associated that do that)
Today was opening day at the new Tory Burch location in the Galleria. It is a lot more spacious, they have a large variety of items, and more MIRRORS (that’s a plus for me bc I hate stepping over people when I try to see what the shoe looks like on in front of this little mirror)! The two front door greeters (both men) were awesome and made me feel welcomed. It’s amazing how it’s always the men in stores like these that make you feel welcomed; then we have some ladies as greeters that are a bit cold. The Associates were okay until I actually had to walk out after waiting on a size for 10 minutes. Another Associate offered me their assistance and they also did not return from the other side of the curtain. Left disappointed. :(

Why is everything about this store so horrible? The size, staff, merchandise availability? I love TB and maybe… just maybe… Free merchandise would make me go into that stressful store over NM or Nordstrom. Maybe…

Well… I’m not the only one who shares the same sentiment on the employees… AWFUL customer service! Hence why I rather just shop online…
I’m almost to the point if not wanting to shop the brand period…

Against my better judgment, I went back into the Tory Burch boutique, lured in by the prospect of things on sale after Christmas.
The service was even WORSE on this visit. I asked to try a pair of shoes, associate went to check, and didn’t return for 10 minutes. Said 10 minutes later, she reemerged, laden with shoeboxes, breezed right past me, and assisted another customer. During this time, another customer said to me «the service is always so damn horrible here!»
Another associate, seeing my irritation, asked if I needed help. I pointed to the first associate and said «Well, she was supposed to be checking on a pair of shoes for me…» Associate number 2 asked number 1 if they had the shoes. Associate 1 just turned her head, looked at me, and said «no» and went back to her other customers.
Seriously? SERIOUSLY?! I don’t even know if she checked, to be frank. Fool me once, shame on you… fool me twice, shame on me. Never again.

Awful service. The employees have such an attitude. Every time I walk in not 1 employee asks me if I need help.
Looks like everyone else has the same issue too. This Tory store doesn’t even compare to other high-​end stores in the Galleria. I’ll never buy anything from there again.

I was more knowledgable about the product than the sales people were. I’ve been to other TB locations and had a wonderful experience. I was very disappointed in the service at the Galleria location.
If you must go here, know exactly what you want. I had to pull out my phone, get on the website and give them the style number of skinny jeans I was trying to buy because they weren’t familiar with the product at all.

They honestly need nicer staff!
I’ve experienced a top notch service in a more high in stores than here. I honestly rather buy Tory Burch stuff at nordstrom, neiman or saks because I can guarantee a better service and will leave feeling satisfied than here.
They are so rude, with a few that are very kind and sweet. It seems like they hate their job, why work there? Hermes treats their customer so much better compare to Tory Burch that isn’t even close to its level. I don’t even know why… They can get really lazy and say they don’t have any on stock then call them 10 minutes later another person will say they do have it in stock. what???
Management needs to get their priority straight and hire people that loves their job and will give 100% great customer service.
I like to spoil myself with nice things. BUT this would be the last place I would go to IF I really really want something that this specific boutique only has in stock. If not, I probably wouldn’t bother going and find something else. I really dislike going here.

Tory Burch products are great, but this store is tiny and the salespeople are rude!
The store itself is so narrow that you’re always being shoved or asked to move out of the way.
My friend wanted to get a gold purse, but the one they brought out had big scratches. So we asked for another one, and it had even more scratches.
And the saleslady looks at us impatiently and asks, «So, are you getting it?!»
That’s when my friend said, «No. Thanks.»
It’s a shame because the products are great. I’d recommend getting them from a department store instead or go online.
