Worst place ever. Bad service, my taco order was cold as a zombie’s ass. I came here because of the great location on Long Point. But this place falls short. Old Lady in charge is very unprofessional and rude. They totally do take advadvantage of the less unfortunate community here if order comes cold and make ppl pay for it when returned.

I love this place. Their tostadas are delicious, the bottled salsas are super good, if you love spicy salsa these are definitely ones you want to try. They serve caldo(chicken broth) along side the tostadas and it’s simple but flavorful.

Delicious breakfast and cheap. Love going here with my family, we go so often that they know us already. Don’t know if that’s a good thing or not lmao.

Good food cheap prices !!! I’ve tried several different selections but my go to is the Pirata Plate. It’s like a quesadilla and a taco had a baby!!! And it’s delicious!!! It’s served with rice and beans! Also the fresh homemade lemonade is really good. The place is small but I think it just adds to it’s authenticity

Absolutely great! I freaking love this place and the prices are so reasonably cheap! Great Monterey Mexican food. Nice staff and great atmosphere. I really love everything they have to offer from the aguas Frescas to the little hot soup they serve on the side. the only reason they get four stars is because their salsas aren’t great. The old green salsa they had before would’ve made the food much better but its ok.

Great staff, excellent food = amazing restaurant: D the only thing I have a problem with is it takes some time for the food to be prepared but the wait is worth it!

The only reason I don’t give this place a 1 star is because the food is good, I really despise the service here, the manager was the worst of all! Is it okay for my party of 6 to have to wait over 15min just for straws?! Mediocre service. WILLNOTRETURN

Went for lunch and when we went to pay they tried to include an optional tip in the final price. The receipt clearly notes«tip not included» but when the cashier charged me she charged the price with the tip included. I asked why and she said that it was the cost of the meal, when I showed her the correct price(which was in much smaller writing) without the tip she had the manger take off the tip. If I hadn’t looked at the receipt and read it they would have taken an extra $ 8 from me, if the service was worth it I would have left more than $ 8 but since we saw her once the tip that was added was not warranted. It’s a scam that should be stopped and they do not care that they are trying to take extra money from people that work hard. Just in case your wondering, we were a party of four that did not run the server asking for tons of stuff. Look at the receipt before paying our your paying two tips for what is mediocre service at best.

Good stuff. This place is always packed! Their tostadas are huge and delicious. They remind me of the food from Monterrey. They have yummy salsas and agua’s frescas. My husband also really likes their caldo de pollo and tacos de trompo. The only thing I haven’t really cared for here are their enchiladas. Everything else however has been delicious. The best part about this place is that it’s very inexpensive!

Tostada Regia is the real deal! «Authentic» is the most overused and abused word when it comes to Mexican restaurants but if you go here you might as well be in a taqueria in Monterrey. The food is top notch and affordable to boot. Tacos del trompo, enchiladas, tostadas are some of the best dishes. The restaurant décor isn’t anything to write home about but then again when was the last time you had authentic Mexican food from a «pretty» restaurant

This is as good as it gets for good authentic Monterrey Mexican Food. Good portions. Awesome prices. A bit on the greasy side, but then again, authentic. Helps if you know some Spanish but it’s okay regardless. I’ve returned many times. I may be the only Asian regular here so they recognize me by now. They still greet me in Spanish I guess because they think I may be one of those Asian looking Mexicans. Oh well, no stars taken off for that.

Amazing salsa and Pirata Plate! It’s a bit crowded and hectic inside, but service is fast and friendly. Helps if you speak Spanish, but English works just fine. The salsa they serve is a warm, fire roasted variety. Very spicy — some of the hottest you will find — but amazing taste and very addictive. They also have a green and some others that are good too. The thing to get here is the Pirata Plate. Grilled beef, onions and cheese, with avacado, served on a toasted tortilla. Two of these with rice and beans for only $ 6.25! Amazing food at an amazing deal. I’ve tried a few other items, including the namesake Tostada — and they’re good, but the Pirate Plate is the way to go. This place’s location is a little scary, but it’s safe inside, and worth the trip.

Closest to the real thing!!! I just went this Saturday because my family has been been raving about the tacos and tostadas. Let me tell you they are the closest to the real thing down in Mexico! love them small and greasy(in a good way)!!! will definetly go back! The tostada regia is the bomb and if you have a big appetite you definantly have to try there burger!!! Hugest burger I’ve seen with all the trimming plus a slice of ham, bacon, avocado!

Yum yum. Had the Tostada de Bistec. The tostada was a bit too hard for my liking. The meat, sour cream, and cheese were pretty tasty. I thought the meat would come out as slices of steak but it was more like a ground beef or steak chopped into really small pieces. My friend gave me some of his Pirata Gigante. It was delicious. If I do end up going back, I will be getting the Pirata Gigante. The melted cheese and the meat with the grilled onions were spot on.
