Totally Tidy Maid Service

Saddened to write a review like this. Have been a customer and enjoyed the service provided for over a year. Teams have always been nice and accommodating. Though whenever you entrust your house to someone you always hope they will not go through your stuff. Today I received the following email
«Hi There!
The housekeepers said that it looks like you may be moving. Would you like us to give you a quote on your new home?
Kindly,
Totally Tidy Maid Service, LLC»
Alarmed, since we did not tell them and literally just settled on a new place, that they went through our private papers this week. Very betrayed and as a result will no longer be a customer.

The maids did do a good job in cleaning what they cleaned and were indeed pleasant people. However, I would describe Sharon’s Totally Tidy Maids service as unethical in the end. I paid nearly $ 300 and they only cleaned the living room, two bathrooms, and kitchen (leaving dust on the top of the refrigerator. Only half the kitchen was clean after inspection). They didn’t even clean my two bedrooms. I gave them a chance to redeem their unethical behavior by asking for a discount if I let them return. Sharon had the nerve to quote me regular prices instead. I didn’t even receive a receipt for their quote-​on-​quote work, though I was told I would receive one along with pricing if I used them again, and a week later, nothing.
One has to wonder about quality when the individual pays that much money and doesn’t even have a clean place in the end. The two maids clearly went slow on purpose, cleaning minor things and «working on it» for thirty minutes to an hour. I was looking for a maid service to use for the future, but they cleaned as though I wasn’t going to use them again So, they sucked up time and got what they could out of me. Being that they charge by the hour and went slow, it is easy to see that this company is more of a cheap scam type business. Had I paid what I paid and ended up with a clean place, I would have been satisfied. However, I still had a dirty place. It is indeed very hard to find a good maid service in Houston, this company is not one of them.
Edit (03÷03÷11 for review posted 9÷12÷10): Notice in the owner, Sharon’s comment below, she didn’t apologize for the disservice and dissatisfaction with which I experienced or offer a resolution. Instead, she attempted to insult me with her lies. When you clean a bottle of shampoo for 30 minutes, it isn’t called working, it’s called scamming people, so what I wrote was true. If you know what’s good for you, you will not do business with Totally Tidy Maid Service or that person. I am glad this review was helpful to some of you.
P. s. 09/​21/​2011 I have yet to receive a single letter about taking this review down or been served with anything. The «lawsuit» and false statement from the owner below, which she changed twice now, seems to be the only things fictitious. By the way, it is my right to give my opinion.
