Tradewinds at Willowbrook

My boyfriend and I moved here at the beginning of September. We have had no problems so far besides if you get here too late at night parking is a little hard. All-​in-​all we love living here!

Love to live here !!! Residents and staff are very friendly nice people. Beautiful views in complex.

Overall it’s a pretty decent place. I feel for the price you pay, it could definitely be better.
Pros: Nice pool. The complex is well maintained. There is a small track for running on. The gym is pretty decent for an apartment gym.
The apartments themselves are fairly spacious and modern. Seems to be a safe area, I have never had any issues or seen any crimes committed nearby. Close to many places for food, shopping, and entertainment. The AMC 24 across the street is really nice.
Cons: It’s an apartment complex. They are all about getting money. Good luck finding one that isn’t trying to find more ways to get you to spend money.
Overall the prices are kind of high for being so far from downtown. There is not enough parking spots, so if you get home late you either have to park outside or dish out more money for a covered parking spot. You’re forced to pay for valet trash even if you won’t use it. I myself specifically asked for an 8 month lease with a specific day to move out because I was going to move back to Austin, however my lease was automatically extended because I didn’t give them 60 days notice that I intended to move out. I guess choosing a specific day to move out when I initially signed the lease meant nothing because they just go ahead and start charging you more rent until they get their 60 days notice. I’ve never heard of that before but oh well I guess that is my fault for not reading the lease agreement well enough. I’ll take it as an expensive lesson learned. Wish they could have cut me some slack since I wasn’t aware, but like I said, they are all about getting more money. I’m sure a lot of people fall prey to it unfortunately.
