We rented from them and had a $ 1000 security deposit. The place was not the nicest and pretty outdated but livable. When we moved out we cleaned pretty good and nothing was seriously damaged. We even left new blinds, light bulbs and AC filter. Now they are saying it’s costing them over $ 1000 to fix the place! Apparently the are using our deposit to freshen up the place. I will be fighting this. I want to see receipts. They are way over charging for things that our deposit shouldn’t even be used for.

I am currently renting a house and TRAMCO is the management company and lets just say they are a hassle to work with. 1. Their hours are 9am-4pm so it is hard to get a hold of anyone after work and there is no way to get to their office if you need to. 2. I’ve contacted them repeatedly about the backyard fence having some holes big enough a small dog could fit through and they said they have someone coming out to fix it. It has been 3 weeks and I haven’t heard from anyone. The repairs inside have taken 2 weeks before they got Sears to come out and look at it and it will be another 2 weeks before that gets fixed. 3. I sent them 1850 dollars worth of deposits(security and pet) in a personal check and they were not cleared within 5 days. I called and they said they have the checks but do not allow personal checks. They have never told me that and why they didn’t call me — WHOKNOWS?! I now have to go to the bank to get a certified check every time I need to pay rent. Overall — this company is a hassle and just stressful to deal with. I don’t want to know what the owner of the house has to deal with! I would have dropped them years ago!
