Tranquility Salon & Day Spa

I currently come to Tranquility to see Tracy — she’s amazing. I have long, fine hair and she’s very good with it. She also listens to your wishes and doesn’t experiment on you (can’t say that for all hairdressers I’ve ever had!). I even trusted her to cut off 16 inches of my hair for Locks of Love and she did an amazing job.
I think I would follow Tracy pretty much anywhere which is why I don’t usually pay too much attention to the salon itself, but this one is good. They have complimentary tea, water, and coffee while you wait, and they do have a good range of products in case you are in need. The front desk staff is always friendly in person and over the phone so making appointments is easy… though I do wish they’d embrace an online system. The only real beef I have is that the people washing hair, or at least the ones I’ve had in the past 8 months or so, are ROUGH. I mean the last couple of times it’s felt like I was 6 years old again and my mom was trying to wash mud out of my hair as fast as she possibly could lol.
So if you are in need of a salon, this is a good option. If you want a great haircut, tell them you want Tracy… and then thank me later :)

I was referred here by friend who has gone to the small hair stylist since she was in high school. She has followed him as he’s moved salons. I have to say he is a blessing to have in your life. Tranquility’s atmosphere is amazing and it smells great regardless of the hair dye and products. I love how the bathrooms are always clean and they provide clean robes for you as you are about to get your hair done. Everyone there is extremely friendly and they are gentle when you get your hair washed. I have been to places before where I have had water splashed in my face and had my hair pulled while they were rinsing my hair. This place is a godsend for when you need a hair transformation. Always always always ask for RIGO! You will not regret it!
