Trees Plus

They had an answering service that got my messages to the owner, John. He would call me back consistently within 30 minutes.
I asked them to come give me a quote on Friday, but I didn’t get the quote until Monday. But… I noticed most of these places get swamped and their scheduling is off.
I told them someone gave me a better price, and they matched it. Because John was so responsive, I went with Trees Plus.
I came home and the yard where the tree was was very clean. I watched my surveillance camera to see how they did it, and the crew was very hard working and professional. I was impressed with how fast they took down our huge pine tree.
I would definitely recommend this company. I could tell they were professional, unlike most of the other companies I called.

I have to concur with the other reviewer. I called this man for an estimate. He left an estimate on the door the following morning. I liked what I had seen and called him back right away. I noticed he didn’t answer the phone but he did that initially so no big deal. I left a message and noticed after five hours, he didn’t return my phone call. Didn’t take a rocket science for me to figure out the type of job and dollar amount was not worth his time. Signs of the economy easing off for some time, eh. When a company can twiddle their thumbs, pick and decide who they want to service based on the most money. Also, its funny how the same guy picks the phone up so fast when I called from a few different numbers. He obviously failed that test REAL QUICK?! Sad! Glad there are so many other companies who would love to have that job… BUT I CAN SAY THIS… I am glad he gave me early on warnings that he WOULD BE NOTHING BUT A NUISANCE AND A PROBLEM. I do believe in what’s called «Tell-​Tale SIgns.»

Horrible! Just horrible! No one answer the phone. According to the answering machine greeting, it is the right company phone number. Left them messages after messages without a return call. Business must be too good that they don’t need anymore customers.

Needed 4 palm trees and 3 crêpe myrtles trimmed, John came out gave me an estimate, and 3 hours later sent a crew to do the job. They plugged in their microwave on the front porch, ate their lunch and then 4 of them got to work, the palm trees are 30 – 40 feet tall so no small job, their truck is monster size so it is not easy to fit in a tiny space.
Watching them climb the palm trees is similar to an Hawaiian moment. They covered the pond that had just been cleaned with a tarp and then removed all the stuff which is a bunch of bark and gunk out of our yard and the neighbor’s yard, approximately 2 to 3 hour job.
Price reasonable, they could not trim the ivy on the walls since there was not a hedge trimmer on their truck, and when I asked for a lesser price quoted on the crêpe myrtles I was given one, they invoiced me and it was a pain-​free, good experience.
