SUMMARY: Do not go to this place. 1) Discriminatory pricing, 2) Always over sells you, 3) Doesn’t like to fix his alterations.
Andy, is the name of the owner of this tailoring shop and he is the reason for the poor rating. Andy’s pricing is not consistent and he basically gives a price based on what he thinks you are willing to pay for his tailoring service.
I have actually used Andy for awhile, but I hadn’t been into the shop for quite some time, so I called to confirm the price of a hem. I was told $ 10 on the phone, but when I went in, Andy told me it was $ 12.99. When I told him he told me $ 10 on the phone, he said that was his old price and that his prices have gone up due to his expenses going up. To quote him, «he said because gas is so expensive» he also has to charge more. GAS IS $ 2.20 as of the day I am writing this review. But Andy has always used «gas» as his reasoning for his pricing, especially if you ever ask for a discount.
I made the mistake of asking for a discount and I was yelled at in front of his other customers. Rude. Andy is happy as long as you pay him what he wants.
Also, Andy will never give you true advice about clothing/​tailoring. I took a pair of pants in (the same pants actually that fueled this review) and I asked him if they needed to be taken in in the thigh (in addition to the hem). ANDY WILL NEVER RESIST THE CHANCE TO MAKE MORE MONEY ON YOU. He, of course, said «yes, they are a bit baggy…$ 25 to take that it in.»
Oh and lastly, God forbid if you ever need an adjustment to an alteration he has done. You have to fight tooth and nail to get him to fix it. He will make every excuse in the book, «oh it looks good the way it is» or «you told me to make it this way» or «it was too long ago» (1 week). I only had to have him adjust an alteration once, and I got all of these excuses for the same jacket. He did not want to redo anything. So, I had to pay twice for the same item as I needed the item quickly.
So, as of today, I use a different tailor. Close by and much cheaper. Oh and they didn’t think that the pants needed to be taken in the thigh area.

I do NOT recommend having your clothes dry cleaned here. First, they send off their dry cleaning to another location about 20 minutes away… so if you have any problems it is such a hassle to fix.
I gave them a bag of 12 pieces of clothing to dry clean and I only received 6 back. I was told that they forgot my other clothes at the dry cleaning place 20 minutes away and they would not bring it until the next day. The owner was nice and apologized but my clothes were still missing. I had dropped off my clothes on a Tuesday and I came on Saturday. How is that they realized they did not have all my clothes only when I came to pick it up?! They said everything would be ready by Friday.
Because I needed to get my dress for a formal that evening, I was told I can go and pickup my missing clothes from the dry cleaning place directly.
After I picked up my clothes, I inspected everything when I got home and noticed that there were buttons missing from one of the suits and the zipper of my formal dress was broken.
After all these issues, I definitely do NOT plan to use them for dry cleaning again.
