True Results of Houston Weight Loss Center – Red Oak

Unfortunately with the limited NP’s at this location, the appointments are running 5 – 6 weeks for the aftercare which is not helpful when in need of fills more often to get the band setting at the green range. Additionally Cherish (desk receptionist) is not the warmest person to deal with, if she doesn’t like your question she just continues to repeat the same thing that was said as if you are annoying her. I drive an extra 45 minutes to the Medical Center location just to not have to deal with her. I will compliment Connie, the NP and a few of the other nurses, they are helpful. The overall issue here is they need more NP’s to allow for 2 week appointments and to move Cherish to a different position, one where she wouldn’t deal directly with patients.

I never made it past the front office. I had an awful encounter with one of the staff. She began to argue with me over my insurance card. I guess it confused her because my company prints the prescription and medical information on the same card but on opposite sides. She was adamit that my card «would not work.» I began to explain that the card had worked for every other physician for the last four years but because I was offended by her condescending tone, I requested my card and exited the office. Wow! Simply ignorant. I would never want them to be responsible for my care.

I had my 3^rd visit today. the entire staff at this location is focused on customer satisfaction. They don’t just run you through the program. They really care.

I went in for my consultation last week and everyone was friendly and very professional.
I am very hopeful that they will be able to help me achieve my goals.
